Also, haven't memorised the setup, but in all open games, town claiming is a good thing a lot of the time, and can create ICs. At a point.

If dylexicons plan as wolf was to have an almost identical catch up to mine and share so many similar ideas in an attempt to pocket me, then their plan has worked.

But given that they barely even know who I am, I doubt that i would be the designated pocket of choice for dyslexicon, so Occam’s razor states that this slot is most likely just town.

I have decided that I like Dizzy’s start. While it’s more reactive than proactive, I think that’s symptomatic of his arrival time. I like the town pile he has produced and find it agreeable enough. 5.5 town reads (half for Lime Coke) is a healthy start.

Because I know I'm townie as fuck. It doesn't surprise me if other people see that too. If you or anyone else who may be a wolf wanna pocket me they can go right ahead, I enjoy staying alive as long as possible in games. As I said, I'm not a noobie and I don't have an inherent distrust over early townreads like someone in the middle of their mafia career might have after being burned. I like to go with the flow and seeing what happens first.

Our ratio in this game is 11 town to 4 mafia. Nanook has introduced hard mode, and that’s okay. We’ve earned it lately on The Syndicate. But those splits are things we should be mindful of as we consider all game matters.

We’re looking at 3 mischops available before a hypothetical 5 vs. 4 Limlo. That means we need a POE pool of 7 (or equivalently 7 correct town reads other than the self).

Alright, thanks anyway. If I ever bother, I may go back to check the gut that spooked me, regarding her opening here vs other games. But I also think those kinds of reads ("You're not acting like that game") are kind of dangerous to make. I encourage everyone to read SPF on their own merits. Hers is an archetype I’ve certainly gotten wrong before. It’s an entry-level town read.

I do think that SPF has a way of attracting immediate and endless tinfoil merely for breathing — sometimes that makes me doubt the accuracy of suspicions she receives. But I am not “certain”.
