Mafia Syndicate Normal Game 1 [JOB]

Public setup info thus far:
13 players
All roles and balancing will be according to MS Normal guidelines.
96/24 D1 deadline - 72/24 D2+

Eliminations will require a majority and day will end when a majority is reached. Majority to sleep will require only half the alive players to vote, majority will require >1/2 of the alive playerlist voting
Voting will be done in a separate thread to ensure all votes are counted. No votes otherwise will be counted - feel free to post them in main thread as a courtesy to other players however.

Again: If there is NO majority before deadline is reached, the day will end in a NO ELIMINATION. I know this is something many of you are not accustomed to so I will be repeating this a few times to remind everyone. Statements of how many votes someone is before elimination occurs is encouraged, such as e-1 for 1 vote to elimination, etc.

Flavor TBD - Will be separate from the game however and if player specific, will be randed separately from the roles+alignment, so trying to game the setup via flavor is impossible. Seriously. Don't try it.

@DkKoba I'm not sure I understand what you mean regarding votes in a separate thread. Are you saying there won't be a vote poll at the top of the game thread? So players will need to go to another thread to check the votes? I'm not sure I understand the benefit - maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are saying which is entirely possible.

then I will likely default to that - I prefer to keep everything contained to 1 platform if possible, so as to prevent any OGI from the possibility a person in teh game doesnt have a discord and people know and then its like "oh they might not be scum because no discord etc." and metagaming that way.

it hasnt been an issue before but I prefer to minimize mod OGI wherever I'm aware it could happen.

I do appreciate having the realtime aspect of conversing on discord (at least for player-to-player interactions). I do think it's a good addition to require everyone to have an account to account for such angleshooting. I haven't seen such tactics used here yet, but it certainly could happen.


It would take a little bit of mod effort to set up PT's for a game. We've done it before, but never for every single player, only for separate mini-games that ran parallel to the regular game. But we can certainly do it if that's what you want. Just make sure you ping us when the time comes.
