It's a bloodbath! Well, it's clear that none of us are safe here. Fortunately, I've prepared for this eventuality.
If you'll just direct our attention over here.
I've provided weapons with which you can all defend yourselves. Oh, but my, there don't seem to be quite enough.
No matter, I-- WAIT I SAID DEFEND NOT ATT-- oh crikey. You people are soooo trigger happy.
Hedgeowl has been lynched. She was Mrs. Peacock.
You have 24 hours to select a weapon. Only one vote per option, please.

Allowing for the assumption that Mr. Boddy has been active all game (he did reveal info about S~V~S Night 1), that means he is going to be either Bass or MR. One of them is Mr. Naughty.

Wadsworth will either kill or not tonight. No changing that, and he won't be able to kill for two Nights following. Two people voted and two did not. So Wadsworth has a choice to make.

With Boddy, we can eliminate him on Day 5 or 6 at the latest.

Ok, I'm still struggling with the obvious here. Wadsworth attempted a kill on night 1, but the ban on night actions when you miss a lynch didn't start until day 2. This is correct?

Re: Clue: The Movie [Night 4]
I have a strategy and I think I have decided that between Bass and Mister Rearranger, Mr. Boddy is MR Boddy. Below are my reasons why, and after that, I will outline my strategy for eliminating him.
Subtle, I know.
That third line says "We've gotta think though." Read the questions that follow the colon. What could be learned by thinking about those things? There's no way anyone could figure out the answer by thinking about them. So why pose them? Because by talking about the LMS role, it makes it look like he's not it.
If (like MR said), "the priority shouldn't be on figuring out anything about Mr. Boddy quite yet," then why does he say in his previous post, "We've gotta think though: If 2 of the team die, is there only a kill once every 3 nights? Does the LMS inherit any kills? Things to think about..." Hardly seems genuine.
If Boddy isn't a priority, then neither are those questions we "gotta think" about. Again, it's just a subtle way to look concerned about the LMS while assuring others that that they don't have to be.
What, I wonder, wold have happened if people would have lynched me, and my civilian role revealed?
"Aw, damn Epi. RIP. Guess we better hunt those baddies."
I don't believe there would have been any examination in MR's subtle push to get me lynched because I was not a "real" suspect- I was just a " safe backup" since a few people (like evil Hedgeowl!) weren't sure where to vote.
While I have disputed the first part of his reason, I can forgive someone for considering it (and many of you have). That second part though? He makes a vague claim and does not elaborate on it or provide specifics: "The way he's interacted with certain parties whose votes seemed like they could have been forced."
Well now let's see.
S~V~S, as we saw, was the Night 1 victim of blackmail. So no one was forced to vote Day 2. There was no victim of blackmail on Night 2, so unless Boddy was blocked, missed his vote, or didn't turn in a PM, then it is likely that someone's vote was forced on Day 3. MR made his claim on Day 3 at 4:54pm EST. Who are these "certain parties" and how did I interact with them? How can he tell their votes could have been forced? He doesn't say.
Now I am about to get all grammatical on this.
"Could have been forced" is a conditional present perfect tense, which indicates something that happened at some point in the past but continues into the present. In other words, MR's suspicion of me hinges on there having been a forced voter on Day 3 by 4:54pm. Who voted by then?
Bass the Clever.
and...
...that's all.
How had I interacted with Bass on Day 3? I asked him to outline other ways the Day 2 lynch had a different outcome than expected (at 4:22pm EST) and...
...that's all.
My only other interaction with Bass came after MR made his claim (5:55pm).
MR claimed I was suspicious because of how I interacted with certain parties. "Parties" is plural, folks. It means more than one. Only Bass had voted on Day 3 when MR said that, and no one's vote was forced on Day 2 or Day 1, so he couldn't be referring to any votes on those Days.
Despite the smiley in the first line, this is seed planting. MR is completely serious about lynching me. The second line even confirms its serious ("I'd advocate getting rid of at least 1 more baddie first"). But what is implied in this sentence? It's implying that Boddy is not a baddie.Mister Rearranger wrote:We could always lynch Epi since I'm fairly sure he's gotta go eventually.
But if the kills work in the way he theorizes they do, I'd advocate getting rid of at least 1 more baddie first.
We've gotta think though: If 2 of the team die, is there only a kill once every 3 nights? Does the LMS inherit any kills? Things to think about...

To the question, "Why lynch Epi?" the answer is given: "The LMS can't win with the civs." That resposne doesn't answer the question. It begs the question.Mister Rearranger wrote:To address both lines:MovingPictures07 wrote: Wait, why lynch Epi?
I'd say there's nothing to think about regarding the Mr. Boddy role until we see evidence of it. Until then, I'm going to assume it's relatively harmless in the fact that it doesn't kill and doesn't say "secrets" by it.
The LMS can't win with the civs.![]()
Like I said though (and in agreement with you), the priority shouldn't be on figuring out anything about Mr. Boddy quite yet.
How do you feel about Canuck this game? I know she's checked in and said she's busy/struggling to get into the game, but the way Day 1 went down leads me to believe that sabie's team hasn't been all that active to begin with.
If (like MR said), "the priority shouldn't be on figuring out anything about Mr. Boddy quite yet," then why does he say in his previous post, "We've gotta think though: If 2 of the team die, is there only a kill once every 3 nights? "Aw, damn Epi. RIP. Guess we better hunt those baddies."
I don't believe there would have been any examination in MR's subtle push to get me lynched because I was not a "real" suspect- I was just a " safe backup" since a few people (like evil Hedgeowl!) weren't sure where to vote.
MR (I suppose) realized that he didn't actually answer the question put to him: "Why lynch Epi?" But he does here.Mister Rearranger wrote:Ftr: My opinion about Epi possibly being bad have to do with his survival, and the way he's interacted with certain parties whose votes seemed like they could have been forced.
