The science of Hatha Yoga rests upon the ‘suppression of breath,’ or Pranayama, to which exercise our Masters are unanimously opposed. For what is Pranayama? Literally translated, it means the ‘death of (vital) breath’.

Some scholars distinguish between hath and rāj yog varieties of prāṇāyām, with the former variety usually prescribed for the beginner. According to Taimni, hath yogic prāṇāyām involves manipulation of pranic currents through breath regulation for bringing about the control of chitt-vritti and changes in consciousness, whereas rāj yog prāṇāyām involves the control of chitt-vritti by consciousness directly through the will of the mind.

OK, my stepsister is having a baby, a boy. she has two daughters. I saw a onesie that says "valonqar" on it. In GOT, the valonqar is the little brother prophesied to kill his sister (Cercei). The Dad watches/reads GOT, sissy does not.
Would this be a fun geeky baby gift, or would it be really tactless? Sometimes I have issues telling the difference.

If it were mine and diggz's baby, that shite would crack us up. Totally fun geeky baby gift.
If they do not share my sick twisted sense of humor, it's prolly tactless. If you're looking for fun and geeky - maybe thinkgeek.com has something else that could be nerdy and not so you know....sibling killing.
And because I lurv me some cute kid cloths I went to look here's the search page: http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/kids/
I particularly like the next gen uniform onsies, teh superhero onesie, and the R is for R2-D2 onesie

I think it would be fun. Doesn't half the time the onesie go under other clothes? and get all sorts of poop and food on it? Chances are it will get stained/ruined eventually anyways, and if the mother really hates it she can always just choose another or put other clothes over it. I'm all for geeky shirts and such though and have no kids so I might not be the best person to askS~V~S wrote:Just one though.

I think bea is right, my stepsister THINKS she's cool, but her husband is the cool one. She does not have as much of a sense of humor as she would like to believe she has. I think she would freak if someone explained it to her, lol, or started calling Ava "Cersei" which someone would

I told my daughter this joke at supper tonight:
"One Two Three cat and Un Deux Trois cat had a swimming race. Who lost?"
She said, "123 cat." I replied, "Nope! Because un deux trois cat cinq!"
I laughed riotously alone.
Then she said, "Okay, it's my turn. There was a cat and the cat's mom. They had a race. Who lost?"
I said, "The mom."
She said, "Nope! Do you know why?"
I said, "Why?"
"Because the cat was slower."
