Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 4
I am sorry to not have been here sooner we had a dinner to attend and it ran longer than I expected. DP took care of MPATHG for me so I could vote then relax some.
So much of Made is this role Enrique is this role - how can anyone act so certain as to assign specific roles before the lynch is even over? I guess I am not smart enough to be able to place people in particular roles this early in a game. I guess a rolechecker could though
That said I feel better about voting Made over Enrique just bc Made is acting differently this game. I am not sure I should trust Epi quite yet and after his replacing in I have no ideas where his allegience may lie. Ergo I don't want to trust a case made by someone I can't yet trust.

So are you voting Made because you don't want to vote for Rico because that's where Epig voted, and you don't trust Epig?

She said he was acting differently this game, and he is. He was a civvie in all his other games.

So "acting differently" equates to being bad?

No one ever said that was all there was, don't over simplify it. That was what Roxy said, when you tried to oversimplify what she said by asking if the only reason she was voting Made was that she did not trust Epi.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 4
Well, I couldn't imagine that was really just voting him because Made is playing differently. That and she doesn't trust Epig.
That is why she voted. She wrote it herself.

I am voting Made bc he IS different this game than any other. He is quiet a subdued neither of which has he displayed before this game. if you had read my last post and my previous ones I have stated this before.
And yep.
I am not considering Enrique at this time. bc the main case people are voting was made by Epi who has just replacedin and I am not sure I trust that he has the civs best interest at heart. If this is not to your approval idk what to tell you. I have to play my way and what I feel is best.
Linky no chris.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia! - Day 2
Yeah Roxy, you did talk about Made before. Twice before to be exact. Once earlier today:
Another thing I noticed too... you've repeatedly said you didn't see any case on Rico.
Hmmm.....
We may have baddie vs baddie here folks.. but I still have a bad feeling about this Made vote...
But then NOTHING, until day 2, when you said:Roxy wrote:<snip>
As for Made - yes lately this game he is acting different. He is more quiet and subdued. Some of Dom's points I feel are valid but some are just a bit off feeling to me. Idk if that is Dom or Made making me feel that way tbh. I do feel as if more bad than good has been pointed out about Made tbqh. I could vote for Made just to find some clarity this game and poss give us some leads on where to look next.
<snip>
So which is it? Is he hard to read, or playing differently? And I've noticed that you've been falling in line with SVS pretty steadily. SVS came right in here, and made an immediate push for Made. You've never mentioned him except for that one time when you said you couldn't read him. Now you're voting him because you don't trust Epig, ironically, something you've said before, and because he's "acting different"...Roxy wrote:<snip>As far as top vote getter Made - idk. he plays very differently than me. In the games we palyed together and one I have hosted he pretty much marches to his own beat. So for me he is hard to read.
<snip>
Another thing I noticed too... you've repeatedly said you didn't see any case on Rico.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 4
Chris, for the record, I thought Rox's reasoning was a bit off when I read her vote post too. Yes, Made's acting differently; at one point I thought that was all that was being raised against him, but there's really more to it than that.

What a crazy lynch. So many people accusing so many of connections to others. Is anyone right? I don't know!! But I feel like switching to Enrique now just for fun. Too many Made voters.
Nah, I won't. It'll just get people riled up. Looks like the Made Man is gonna get it. Or is he Emperor Dalek?

If Made were Emperor Dalek, surely then D3 makes no sense based on the way it went down. Not only that, but seeing how aggressive of a game Made played before... if he were an unlynchable role, I think he would have played more similarly to that and not like we've been seeing him.

I would think Made, if he were Emperor Dalek, would still not want to be lynched, and thus exposed as that role to the more suspicious of us. A save of him to keep his cover makes sense.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 4
Man, I'm not certain on either of them.
Epig does a better job arguing his case than Dom does, but Enri does a better job arguing his case than Made does.
Are people assuming Made is the Emperor Dalek and cant get lynched? Someone mentioned it earlier: if that were the case, there would be no need to save him last night. Also, I don't see any connection between Enrique and Made. Frankly, other people have come across as closer to each other.
The most suspicious thing on Enrique to me is his trend of unlucky votes, but it would be pretty hypocritical for me to criticize him for that, considering my record isn't too great either. His survival of last night is also a bit odd, but it seems pretty certain that it would be possible for him to potentially survive that night as a civ (eg. if the Master was blocked).
I feel reluctant voting for Made, though, too. I don't entirely understand the argument against him.
The thing I'm ultimately falling back on to base this vote on is my experiences with them outside of the game, since I mostly know them in that context. I mentioned on one of the first days that Made seemed a bit off to me. Enrique seems more like his usual self. It's entirely possible that he's just a better liar, but that's what I'm going on for now. I really hope I'm right.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 4
At least my speculation of Enrique being Cyber Controller has SOME evidence -- i.e., he survived an NK.
We have practically no reason to believe Made is Emperor Dalek other than speculation.
Therefore, I'm not worried until I'm given reason to be worried (i.e., if Made were to survive the lynch).

Even though finding out information from the +1 would be beneficial, it is almost impossible to ensure, and the prospect of a tie/keeping the vote close makes me nervous.
There are still others left to vote, so it'll be interesting to see.

I apologize for not really being around the past few days. I'm very many pages behind, but I don't want to miss the vote. Are we still doing the thing where we want the person in front to be a lot more in front because of the +1 on all civs? I think I'm going to vote Made because, like Gotrees said, I know them mostly outside of Mafia and Enrique seems a lot more like his normal self than Made does. Enrique definitely has a lot more experience, but I've said a few times throughout the game that Made was acting a little quiet. I don't feel super great about this vote, but I do feel slightly better about voting for Made than voting for Enrique.

Running behind here, don't have a strong opinion on either one but I want to keep the votes close rather than spread, so I am casting my vote for Enrique. He is still down from Made by one, but whatever. I think either one being lynched coud be telling about some other player alignments.

I do not understand why anyone, least of all civilians, want a tied vote. I've hosted game after game and played game after game where people tie things up. Is it an evolutionary bias for symmetry?
