i thought my c4 read was pretty basic and easy to understand but then NAA said he didn’t get it and it seemed like TMI, which kinda miffed me because i felt like he wasn’t putting in any effort to understand it and just calling it wolfy for no reason (which is why i voted him) but instead of saying “NAA seems like he’s lazily latching onto alison’s push and not putting in the modicum amount of effort necessary to understand my c4 read because he just wants something he can call wolfy” i figured i should check myself to make sure i wasn’t unclear about the read, which is why i polled the thread

I think you'd scrutinize Dizzy a little harder if you found his behavior jarring, since I got the impression you were miffed at wrongly townreading him in GOC.

dizzy is more than capable of faking tone/vibe as a wolf so i believe that he’s just down regardless of alignment

1) Dizzy is down.
2) Dizzy hates playing wolf.
3) Dizzy is more likely to be down if he is a wolf.
4) If Dizzy is down, he is more likely to be a wolf.

It doesn't require that premise. Dizzy has chosen to not hide his down-ness, whatever alignment he is. Unless you think he would hide his down-ness as wolf, but not as town? (In which case you should probably be townreading him for it.)

To give a less glib answer, because I have other, stronger, reads to pursue and I have mostly ignored you in games because I think having an accurate read on you early isn't too important unless you deepwolf, but there are lots of people in this game that won't readily allow that. I don't think you're self resolving exactly but I don't often think to myself, eg. "if only I had gotten there on Dizzy being X, that would have cracked the game open" in the same way that I do with people like Mac.
