I'm not gonna dance for you this time. I don't wanna be a tryhard. I don't need to be to make good reads.
Why do I get the sense that Scotty is posting a bunch of random stuff to try to trigger exactly this a "looks towny pass", and "maybe if I post a bunch of random bullshit I'll stumble on StarV's tell". Just for the record, you haven't @Scotty. I'm still down for killing you.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 9:35 pm Scotty doesn’t get a “this looks townie enough” pass this game, fyi.

I'll say one thing @Urist , it's harder to tell in games where Scotty is incredibly active since we're looking for occurences of a bug, there's more logs to sort through an the potential of false positives.NotAnAxehole wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 12:03 amI think it depends on a couple factors, I'd guess probability is generally low, but not impossible.

So here we, again, have a situation where you're making similar reads to me ala the previous game. And yet you are going to just continue to suspect me until we get to a point in the game where you and I are the only ones left alive and the mafia manages to mischop one of us to win. This Dolby wagon seems like it was formed from no where with no reason.
Dolby hasn't even made a noteworthy presence this game yet.
Doesn't help I still don't really like Scotty this game, though Mac also is creeping up there. Mostly since their vote and unvote on Dolby doesn't sit right as leaving the vote a tie or 1 difference is basically asking for a last minute wagon snipe to happen. And if you actuality wanted a scum read dead it doesn't make sense to unvote them in that scenario unless you have TMI they weer Town.

Considering every vote on that wagon seems to be a joke vote or opportunistic vote Dolby is pretty much a guarenteed mischop.

So this is quite similar to what I said about that wagon which is why I unvoted it but Dolby has been materially suspicious so I am not entirely convinced it's a mischop as much as I am convinced that if he is mafia that at least one teammate is voting there.LinearPoint wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 4:21 am Considering every vote on that wagon seems to be a joke vote or opportunistic vote Dolby is pretty much a guarenteed mischop.

Re: RPG Mafia D1
Syn, Scotty
DrWilgy, Marmot, NAA, HK
Urist, Dya, TSP, Jack, Dunia
Dolby, LP, Mac, Creature
--------------------
Syn, Scotty obv town
DrWilgy I like because of some mindmields (the Urist/dya stuff, stance on Mac's posts); Marmot because he seems careless and inquisitive enough (these switchs on Scotty, voting Dunia because she takes notes etc). I don't like the pushes but they still fit well with town!Marmot to me. NAA just don't give a crap lol and do his stuff. HK same (also no agenda/strong pushes is a town tell for him smh).
Dolby started by going crazy about CFCers towncoring, then posted that him low efforting was townie, then disappeared lmao. I won't die on that hill (happened already lol) but this is > rand scum.
LP because there is a real dichotomy between the stuff being pushed (early posters > rand wolves, HK/Syn fake, Marmot being opportunistic on Scotty) and the energy displayed. Like someone pushed the button a tidy bit too much and I am not vibing. Also I agree with whoever said she was fishing for claims yesterday.
Mac just seems too similar to our last game. Weak unexplained pushes. Feels pocketie again (I am not falling for cereals)
Creature was the first to speak about mechs (in what, 10 posts), but didn't follow up when I gave him the occasion to, which strikes me as too cautious and fishy. The vote on Dolby was awfully opportunistic (I can't say Creature has read anything hence I have a problem with that sort of pilling) too. This is the weakest lead I have because I am conflicted between him being cautious and lacking self-awareness. So I am prolly not ending there.
The rest are nulls rn.
