I feel a bit off-put by Rondo asking Mac why he didn't die night 1.

I was asking people why Seanzie died over Mac, both to try to get insight into day 1 without having to backread because I'm lazy

but also because I don't think any wolf actually kills Seanzie over Mac in a vacuum unless:
1) They don't know who Mac is
2) Mac is the wolf
3) Seanzie's suspicious of them but Mac is not
4) They think they can leave Mac alive until late game in order to get people to tin-foil Mac as a deep wolf.

I've tried doing #4, it doesn't work, Mac just finds all the wolves and kills them all before you get to LYLO.
#1 is a bit silly given that this is Mac's homesite.
#2 is self-resolving is kind of silly to suspect on day 2, I don't think Mac hell buses on day 1.

But doubly so because:
Mafia only knows who their teammate is. Glomgold knows who both of the mafia are.
A mafia choosing to hellbus literally their only known teammate on day 1 is a highly dubious play that I don't think anyone makes. It's a possible play to make as Glomgold though.

But because it is a play that's only made 50% of the time, the prior probability of someone being a deep wolf that's hell bussing is already half of what it is in a normal game.

So I think that just makes Mac >>rand town. And I think that's a fact that people intuitively understand about the setup even if they haven't thought about the prior probabilities and what not.

So then Rondo's questioning of Mac to "make sure he's not a deep wolf" feels a little bit misplaced. The line of questioning is useful in order to figure out who Seanzie was scumreading that Mac was townreading to potentially triangulate the wolf off of that. But asking Mac the question directly to "make sure he's not a deep wolf" ... feels weird.

If Mac did indeed town or null read Rondo on day 1 though, then that further contributes to the case against him. If he scum read him as much as Seanzie did, then meh

Glomgold needs coin to win, so they care more about their own personal survival rather than simply achieving mafia win-con. Whereas regular mafia ought to be very reluctant to bus the only person they're able to coordinate with in the game.

Also the two town-aligned 3p's also have a vest, so if a kill fails, it's because mafia targeted one of the 3p's but it might have been the town one.

I was asking people why Seanzie died over Mac, both to try to get insight into day 1 without having to backread because I'm lazy

but also because I don't think any wolf actually kills Seanzie over Mac in a vacuum unless:
1) They don't know who Mac is
2) Mac is the wolf
3) Seanzie's suspicious of them but Mac is not
4) They think they can leave Mac alive until late game in order to get people to tin-foil Mac as a deep wolf.

I've tried doing #4, it doesn't work, Mac just finds all the wolves and kills them all before you get to LYLO.
#1 is a bit silly given that this is Mac's homesite.
#2 is self-resolving is kind of silly to suspect on day 2, I don't think Mac hell buses on day 1.

But doubly so because:
Mafia only knows who their teammate is. Glomgold knows who both of the mafia are.
A mafia choosing to hellbus literally their only known teammate on day 1 is a highly dubious play that I don't think anyone makes. It's a possible play to make as Glomgold though.

But because it is a play that's only made 50% of the time, the prior probability of someone being a deep wolf that's hell bussing is already half of what it is in a normal game.
