Whoa now, don't get ahead of yourself. I put Michelle as a lean solely based on her tone, and for you it revolves around good intent at explaining mech, but I did say I dont like focus on mech and wanted to see you explore the game more. Mech focus is an easy way blend.

That said, as far as the real meat of the game goes, your presence is known, feels pretty natural and honest. However you seem to be asking a lot of questions of everyone, but not offering much for me to bite into and think about.
It's early game, I know one player here and have no meta reads on anyone but falc. I touched on that a bit earlier.. I'm null on him atm. There's good stuff - light, breezy, seems comfy, and cracking jokes. And other stuff I'm unsure how to read - his lack of teeth, hasn't really rattled any cages.. but it is early and I have to be careful about expecting too much from the my boy. I've built little boxes for him before, he didn't fit in, but was still town.

Outside of tone and overall vibe, is there really ever anything to go off D1? Outside of a hard line meta read of course.

On my homesite we rely on meta too much imo, especially early. But some guys just can't escape who they are and how they react no matter how many times they've been busted.

Zero actives need to be resolved one way or another, and in a game without town specials, it's not a huge loss to potentially mischop early if a player has a history of being a useless townie / slanker.
