Here's a fun thing.

Mac's random ass RVS observation dictated this entire game, because town and mafia (who knows) where too lazy or occupied to do anything about it. And listening has not been on the menu.

So the only way Moon can prove that they are town is in fact by letting me die. Since it would be better for a potential wolf!Moon to have me live so everyone can jump on me tomorrow.

Moonwink was Amy.

Amy was an interesting case. I'm not sure she treated me either kindly or cruelly. I was about as generically invisible as one gets with her in particular, and that's not even a lamentation. I had no clue what to say to her anyway. All I know is that she had freckles for days, and they caught my eye every single time I passed by in the hallway or braved a cross-classroom glimpse during the few AP classes we shared. I didn't know her as well as the other crushes. She was always at an arm's length (or twenty arms' lengths), and she spent her time in social circles very much apart from my own tiny bubble. I have a feeling she grew up to become the quintessential suburban mom figure. She kind of have that vibe even as a teenager. I would be surprised if she were to remember my name.

Dyslexicon was Lauren.

Lauren was a big one, figuratively speaking. I remember sitting behind her in our freshman physical science class. I was silent, in my usual form, and she was chatting liberally with whoever else was seated in her immediate vicinity. At some point she revealed that her favorite number was 27. I was immediately smitten, because, well, you see: 27 was my favorite number. How could such a coincidence be possible if not to portend a future with twelve babies together? Regardless, I hardly spoke a word to Lauren in school. She revealed later (we became actual friends as adults years later, go figure) that she thought I was very angry and brooding. She was absolutely correct. I wonder how many other babes kept their distance while I brooded.

Britney is one of my greatest humiliations. She was also the only high school crush that regarded me in the same light. However, she did not attend my high school. Indeed, I never met her at all.

The concept of an “Internet girlfriend” was not generally well-regarded in the 2003-2004 era. It was an unthinkable act of nerd desperation in the eyes of many, and for that reason I told absolutely nobody about Britney. I met her in an AOL chat room dedicated to a topic I cannot remember. She was quite flirtatious with me, and that’s really all it took. Empowered by the anonymity of my computer screen, I could communicate confidently and find the personality that felt most authentic and avoid the social barriers of the real world. It was an extremely ridiculous “relationship” looking back, but it did mean something to me at the time.

Eventually my guardians discovered what I was doing online and barred me from the computer. I suspect the same happened to her, actually. We were able to talk again eventually, but the flames of AOL love had been thoroughly doused.

Britney had terrible taste in music. She made me listen to Candy Shop by 50 Cent with her once. It gave me impure thoughts.
