Whoa...

I do think Dom is bad and yes, I thought he-man was civvie - and you can clearly see the thought process behind me coming to the conclusion that he-man was not on either mafia team during discussions yesterday. He-Man did a fantastic job of hoodwinking us, imo. So, just because I came to the wrong conclusion about him, does not make me mafia. Btw, Snow Dog, I am a female ;)

I have had my eye on Indiglo since she was AnnaDanielle, and I keep going back and forth on her. I can see a case for her being civvie... same with juliets. But, MP did present a case for them both being bad. I am not ready to go there yet.

My inclination is to look at the people who voted for DH when MP was clearly hexed - one of those is BF (who also appears to have been saved with He-Man's vote on D1) and then we have The Un-Tamed who's only vote in the game so far was that one for DH. Russtifinko was killed by Horde on N4.

Linki - OMG - Ginormous MP posts... will post and then read.

You can shoot me, but you can't kill me.

The sorceress seems really attached to me for some reason, lifting my curse and then granting me new life. Thanks lady.

I am back, I know, you all are likely booing. But I just realized I forgot to consider that Aces was targeted on Night 2 by The Horde with an NK. I was letting the thoughts simmer and I was thinking of who died every night and remembered that. I guess that means he's probably cleared from being bad, UNLESS The Horde knew he would be protected that night and did it for mega super WIFOM reasons.

Anyway, be back after I finish all my studying and stuff and to vote.

I finished my re-read of LT and found what I was pinged by in her posts, however, given her overall game wide posting I end up unsure whether she is Snake Mountain or civvie, or maybe even indy.

I have several things I have to do right now but i will come back later in the day to explain what pinged me and why I can't say I'm sure LT is bad.

You cannot say I am bad because I am not :) I must say, this sudden shift towards me being "suspicious" is quite pingworthy. :ponder:

Juliets post about lt, made me ping too.
She basically posted to say she will post later about why she may or may not think ltight be SM/civ/Indy.
Lol. Why not just post that she may or may not be playing the game???

And fwiw, reys. It was me who said Timmer was suspish and he countered with the whole, but I voted that tri clops was a baddie on day one as his proof of his goodness.
Ping ping ping.

Jeez Louise, Mp. That wall o text was impressive, but no way was I gonna read that whole thing. Thanks for the recap, and fwiw I think u are onto some good points.

And has anyone else noticed that SD has been just agreeing with the one person who has had him pegged as civvie the whole game? (on phone and can't remember who it is) but this seems to me to be a great way to hide in plain sight. SD might not be bad, but IMO he's being coached.

First who is Simon? He is not posting in np blue so is he a part of the game somehow?

LT, I would not have expected you to try and switcheroo - I was pinged by you and because of that you were pinged by me. And I'm not sure what you mean by "sudden shift" - this last day period leading up to the lynch constituted my main suspicion of you but as I told MP when he asked I had been pinged earlier. There were just two times I was pinged prior to the whole episode yesterday. Once was back from the beginning of the game when you defended He Man when MP was saying pretty strongly that He Man was bad. It pinged me because it seemed to early in the game for people to be defending one another on thread evidence. The other ping was when there was conversation about BWT and you said "as for BWT flipping hoarde I'm pretty sure he will :) ". Why were you sure he would flip Horde? There is probably a logical explanation that I missed but when you said to Snow Dog about He Man "you want to lynch him to prove he isn't? 'Cos I'm pretty sure you will find he is not Horde". That statement was reminiscent of the statement about BWT when sure enough he was Horde and then this time of course He Man was not Horde. It just sounds like you knew in both cases (I can pull the quotes if you want).

So those were, as i said, just pings and I think it's clear why your behavior yesterday made me think you could be bad. But I also found other things or was reminded of other things in my read back that seem to speak to your being civv. You had several posts about BWT's actions and those big posts led the lynch on him. In the Boomslang lynch you said his posts were pinging the hell out of you and you voted for him (if you are Snake Mtn. I'm really curious what was going on in that lynch). And I thought you gave a pretty good argument why timmer isn't on any baddie team (I'm not totally sure where I stand on that yet but your argument was good). You also tried to think of ways to rescue DH and have been overall helpful to people.

So, I'm right in the middle. I think you defended He Man and jumped on the Dom vote when the time was right. At the same time I think there are plenty of other incidents that make you look civvie minded. I just have to simmer for awhile before I can conclusively say I think your civvie or baddie. I'm sure there is other evidence that I haven't got here, my intention was to just hit the major things I have been thinking about.

linki: And orson, I made my post earlier because I knew MP wanted to know my thoughts. I was only letting everyone know I had not forgotten but had some things to do before I had time to sit down and write a pm.

Juliets - I started the campaign against Dom and I still think he is bad. Therefore, I did not "jump on the Dom vote", I started it :) Again, I think if you read back through the last day period, it is very very clear that I came to the conclusion he-man was not bad for valid reasons. You seem to be conveniently glossing over or avoiding that evidence.

I am not "switcherooing" either. I agreed with MP at the start of the Day, as well as you are someone that I have been paying attention to because a few things have pinged me about you throughout the game - namely, no baddie hunting, lots of questions that were actually answered if you read the thread. Now you bringing my name up goes along with a few others who, for some odd reason, started seeding the thread early on with my name. It sounded like there was some btsc chatter going on about getting me lynched. Perhaps this is the culmination of that effort? Well, I am sorry, but you cannot make a case against me for being a baddie since there is plenty of evidence to the contrary throughout the game.

With regard to me supposedly defending he-man on Day 1 - I was not defending him, I was disagreeing with the case being made against him. Big difference.

As for knowing BWT would be Horde and He-Man not Horde - yes I was pretty sure on both counts. I had my reasons :)

So, would you like to explain why you were so sure He-Man was bad?

Also, what was the PM you were writing? :ponder:

I think you are forgetting that I just came into the game at the end of day 3 and read the majority of the thread all in one sitting. All through a game I ask questions - questions, questions, questions - it is how I baddie hunt. I absolutely could have missed things as I read through the game the first time and I can easily overlook something if it didn't get my attention the first time around. So I ask questions to clarify, questions to get information, questions that I might already know the answer to to see what response I get. So the fact that I asked a question which I could have gotten from the thread? Easily. And once again, this is the way I process information, this is the way I baddie hunt.

I don't know anyone who early on started seeding the thread with your name. I haven't run across any of those statements in my re-reads so if they are there I have not taken them into account in my thinking. And if there is bts chatter about you getting lynched I am not involved in it.

I've already answered all the questions about me baddie hunting He Man. There is nothing more to say.

I haven't written any pm's today or sent any pms today or read any pms today at all. Why do you ask that question? The only thing I've done close to a pm was adjust to daylight savings time.

I also want to hear from the people who have been laying low, starting with Dom. We've had a full weekend when he should have had a few minutes to check in unless he has classes all weekend. BF i think is on a cruise. I've just about given up on the untamed but I haven't given up on Ace, Farraday, DP, Stormcrow. Come out and play guys!

JC, I'm not sure I'm seeing the suspicion on LT. I agree with those who have said that Dom still seems like a good candidate for a baddie. Do you have any other candidates for suspicion?

Same question goes for you, LT, are you thinking Dom most deserves your vote again today or do you have any other focus points? Same question goes for anyone and everyone, frankly.

I have to say, I'm disappointed that more people haven't yet posted or helped contribute to the discussion, especially as I have to vote within two hours because I won't have internet access while I'm gone.

Understandable, I just wasn't sure if you were looking in any other directions, or if any of those three you felt most strongly about.

You think BF might be worthy of a vote but not juliets or indiglo. Why BF, and what are you thinking about juliets and indiglo at the moment? I'm still going back and forth on what might actually be going on myself, so I'm trying to get other opinions before I have to vote.

Well, I did already say that a case could be made for juliets and Indiglo being civvie... but I think you and I are thinking along the same lines in that regard.

As for the three I named, well, I think it highly likely that they could all be bad, tbh. So, just depends on what transpires in the thread as to who I will vote.

Sorry if you're repeating too much, I just feel I'm at a loss at who to vote and it seems I'll have to be the first one to vote. I was hoping to bounce more off of people first. I'll give it another hour or so until I really need to leave.

Ok, working on catching up with the thread - we watched both ThanksKilling movies last night. Let me say this - if you love B-movies... those are hilarious! The first one is the best, though. So bad it's good.:D

Now I'll work on catching up. Figured I'd follow MoPi's lead and keep OT stuff in a separate post.

Thanks for the DST reminder, LT. Going to go fix that right now before I forget.

This was a strange exchange I noticed after the He-Man vote that I wanted to go back and find. Both of these folks voted Dom (IIRC) and then after He-Man flips Snake Mountain they both said this about He-Man.

Not sure if I should make anything of this, because I don't know either of them, nor do I know how much mafia experience they have. I just found this really bizarre and wanted to point it out.

MoPi, Holy Wall of Text BatMan! (What, no batman smiley here? :WTF: Well I NEVER!) Low posters are never my favorites to go after, just because there is so damn little to work with to base a decision on. Actually though, seeing all those posts pulled makes me want to go back and finish my reread on Dom. He has enough folks mentioning his name I find it odd that he isn't coming here to defend. Ack, I don't know it's so easy to read into things, and sometimes in mafia we do that incorrectly. I have until tomorrow night though, which is nice. I'm not feeling super good today, so I don't think I'm working at 100% capacity.

I have to work all day tomorrow so I will likely have to cast my vote tonight before I go to bed, which sucks, since I don't know who to vote for. I am leaning towards either Dom or BF. Someone convince me which one to vote for before I go to sleep, please.

Lol, are you the new Old Spice spokesman? That'd be pretty badass.

But seriously, any thoughts, DP?
I'm thinking BF seems like a proper lynch choice. The thing about He-Man voting Boomslang seems logical, and there was also his He-Man vote. It did have a lot of certainty, and if I recall correctly there wasn't really much talk of Dom at the time. And he had to vote right then so... I think I'll probably be voting him. :p

Makes sense, I suppose, but I can't help but shake the civvie feeling I've been getting from him all game, and that he has yet to have a chance to defend himself. You think BF is more voteworthy than juliets or indiglo for those reasons alone or is there anything else? Same question to llama.

I feel I'm alone in that it seems people are focusing in on BF.

I am very suspicious of Indiglo as well, but I'm not quite ready to vote for her yet. Some of the things she has said make me think she may be a civvie with inside information somehow. My reasoning for (possibly) voting for BF is that he voted for DH after you were compelled and He-Man's vote for Boomslang only makes sense if BF is bad. Still, I am hesitant because like you, I have been reading BF as civvie for most of the game.

Alright, well, unfortunately I have to vote early today. Here's where I'm at. I still think there's a chance any of indiglo, juliets, and BF could be bad and specifically on The Horde, in that order of suspicion for me personally (indiglo seems most bad to me all actions in the game considered, and BF seems least likely, but that's just my guess). It could be all of them or just one or two of them. Also, I didn't feel as though indiglo or juliets's responses made me feel all that better. However, I don't feel as though enough discussion has been made yet on that front and I haven't had the theory sit long enough, so my vote won't be going there quite yet. Additionally, BF is still on his cruise and hasn't yet had a chance to address any of it. They all could still be civvie for all I know.

I'm not sure I'd be opposed to a Dom lynch today. That being said, I'm still not 100% sold on Dom given he could have been a distractor and/or I could still see a possibility where he might be civvie, even though the evidence against him is truly logical and substantial.

What's really more notable to me currently are the quiet players. I don't expect everyone to follow me here, but I feel my vote should go to one of the bottom 7 I outlined on the previous page, so that's what I'm going to do. Unfortunately, I'm really not sure which one I should go with, given there is so little to go off of with some of them, but I have a solution, for my vote process anyway.

I randomized among 6 of the bottom 7; I excluded Aces because he was targeted by Horde on Night 2 and since he really doesn't seem Snake Mountain. Even though there are a few of those 6 that have pinged me a bit more than the others, I can easily rationalize in my mind any of these people being on a baddie team.

I got DFaraday. Despite my civvie read of him this game, I realize that my read might be influenced by the fact that he and I have at times seen eye to eye and that he has trusted my judgment. Considering Daisy and BWT both buddied up to me big time, that could very well mean nothing. Even though DFaraday did advocate BWT, the Horde obviously knew he was surviving his first attempt, and there was hardly any resistance to that movement, so DFaraday could still be his teammate. BWT also said absolutely nothing about DFaraday if I remember correctly. Additionally, DFaraday did think He-Man was civvie, has missed a few votes, and has several times expressed that he didn't "get" why LT was being trusted, to mention a few other reasons he could be baddie.

All of this to say I hope the randomizer isn't wrong, as I'm voting DFaraday. More of an :eye: is on you than anything, and that I seriously think low posters need to be examined more thoroughly. Hopefully today's day period and actual lynching will garner more discussion and I will come back for the next day period and have a better idea of BF/juliets/indiglo, or the low posters, or others as well, or most hopefully many items. I still feel we're at this weird square one reset today, and I hate to be the first to vote, but I can't wait any longer or I'll miss the vote completely because I am leaving any minute now.

Linkitis with indiglo: Yeah, you could say it's weird, lol.

Linkitis with llama: That makes sense. I am wondering that same thing re: Indiglo, which is why I don't quite feel comfortable going with any of them today.

I've made up my mind. I would like to give BF a chance to defend himself given that my gut wants to believe that he is civvie. Therefore, I'm voting Dom.

This is right along with what I was thinking. I would like to vote BF, but BF also hasn't been here in a while to defend against accusations and I would like to allow for a defense before i vote in that direction. Out of everybody else, Dom would be my next choice, so voting dom it is

I have spent the last hour building a huge suspicion post about a certain player that I felt majorly pinged by yesterday. Before I posted it, I took another look at the roles and had a major epiphany that went against the entire post I made and deleted the whole thing. Suffice it to say, that ping vanished into trust.

I am still suspicious of Dom and do not feel good about his behavior. Between his lack of posting, his lurking in the thread in past days without posting, and his explanations that he "forgot he was playing"--none of that is sitting right with me.

As it stands right now, I will be voting for Dom again today.

But thankfully there is still time and I want to do some more reading back in the thread. Since He-Man flipped Snake Mountain, I feel there might be more to be gleaned from his posts.

I'm pulling up an old quote, I know, but please indulge me for trying to answer your question on the off chance that you find it helpful/useful/whatever-else-ful. You know Llama, sometimes in mafia you have hunches. You know how you have a hunch about other players, like LT for example? I have some similar hunches. :)

I am much more inclined to vote Dom than BF. But I don't have to rush, so I will let it all simmer, and see how things look tomorrow.

Also, OMG The Walking Dead was soooooo good tonight!!! :zombie:

MP, thanks for the post you made about all the low posters. That was very helpful. Its impossible to tell what's up with theuntamed as there are only 3 posts and they don't really reveal anything. I agree with you about Aces probably not being Snake Mountain, but he could easily be on the other baddie team or a civvie...again, just not enough there. Similar thoughts about Stormcrow. The only thing that looks at all out of place would be the vote for Ethernia....could be a baddie spreading votes to cover all the bases....or as you pointed out could be just a lone civvie. Dom's posts look just as suspicious today as they did yesterday, and since he's added nothing else.....I feel the same. :D DFaraday pings me a bit with the vote for Dragon Walker as his vehicle. IIRC, He-Man picked a vehicle that no one else picked, too....and I think there were two vehicles that everyone agreed pretty much had no reason to be picked....no info and no real chance of winning. The only other thing I see in his posts are his support for the idea that Timmer is likely the indy. I could see DFaraday being a baddie based purely on the vehicle choice...but I would vote Dom before DFaraday. I agree with MP's thoughts on SE. Theres a possibility that SE is a Horde member, but Im leaning civvie right now.

I'm also a little bit worried about Kate. I will re-read her tomorrow, but she just hasn't seemed like the civvie Kate I've seen in recent games.

That is a good point about dfaraday. Iirc I was the one who pointed out that heman voted for a car for fun. I just couldn't convince myself beyond the boomslang thing. I'm likely to vote Dom. Does anyone know what he voted the day of the silencing spider?

Sawyer. Although I could say the same about you, I'll refrain :p. not to make excuses but during this game I had three kids with bronchitis and then one with a bad flu. Day 9 and still going strong. I've missed a bunch of work and its easier for me to play there. I'm n my iPad mostly at home. That being said, I think a few ppl have deduced who I am and I most definitely civ.

Nothing bizarre or strange about this. I have already explained my actions. For you I will briefly go through it again.
I always had suspicions about He-Man, don't know why, something about the way he posted. You can go back to the beginning to see this. In the last lynch I was going to vote him. LT put doubt in my mind so I tied the vote and "let the fates decide".
Should have gone with my instinct I suppose but I started to worry he'd turn out civvie.
After the vote I claimed I was pretty sure he was bad. A slight exageration on my part to make me look good as it is obvious that in the final vote I had serious doubt.
