I had a thought this morning. What are people’s non-Tommy related thoughts on Rondo? What is to say that Tommy just didn’t know or remembered Rondo’s name even if they were teammates. He was completely new to the site and barely posting

I remember Rondo being weird about voting Porscha on D1. Will check that later after work unless someone else feels compelled

Reading Mac's self eval was interesting. I have noticed that he's extremely fast at times, but maybe it's familiarity with the players.

I think that strategy wise on D1 town profits from TvT clinches and scummy looking townies in general. It's up to wolves if they make anything out of it, but usually they do try to stay out of it in my experience. Thread noise and those blending into it I guess.

Sometimes there's also moments where someone pops in and starts posting and you glimpse something of their alignment without realizing why. Strange phenomenons and all. Or perceive a mood remotely just cause you're looking at the same thing as other ones. Maybe I'm imagining it, but it's a nice thought to have.

And I don't know, I'm good sometimes. In one cursed laser beam space game I had 4/4 mafia in a PoE of 5 on D0. I'm not a bad town player, but I tend to overthink and fuck up for myself (probably classic self sabotage tbh)

Yeah, you’re right. Actually all of my best insights and reads that really hits, I often throw out as a joke or with disclaimers. There’s probably a lot psychological bs that goes into that, and while I feel pretty grown and aware of my patterns and short comings, I can’t really seem to get out of that. Another reason why mafia is interesting tbh. I’m afraid of being wrong, so I tend to downplay my own insights in favor of others. Being wrong can lead to funny situations. Depending on the player and the game. But usually the mafia team can use it to their advantage and it makes the game more fun for them, unless they just use it to go lurk.
Doesn't mean one should do it every game. Expectations can make it stale, you don't want to just be the shape that fits into a form made by other players, so it's fine to have an off game once in a while (generally speaking, not that you're having one).
It's good on you already that you can waltz in and solve 2/3s of it, even when sometimes it's the fluff one's there for. The fluff often makes it worthwhile to revisit.
