Don't be so hasty, if he's The Master then I'll be a lot more likely to follow your vote and your logic. Part of my worry was that you were The Master, and if Dom is The Master... looks good for you!Epignosis wrote:If I'm right, will you vote how I want you to vote from here on out?Long Con wrote:No, that makes no sense. I'm not making the case he's Strax or not Strax, it's not my name on the line here.Epignosis wrote:If Dom ain't, will you vote for yourself?Long Con wrote:If Dom is Strax, will you vote for yourself next lynch?Epignosis wrote:Dom won't be lynched. Ten bucks.
Of course not. So why ask what you asked?
So if I survive this lynch, everyone is going to think you're the Master. It'll pretty much be a done deal.Dom wrote:Welp, I'm gonna be honest with you all-- it's gonna look a lot like me being the Master-- and this is why I didn't want to be lynched.
But, alas, I am not.
Or you're the Master, because you're the Master. You're the Master, so you survive masterfully.Dom wrote:But I'm not allowed to talk about why I will survive this lynch. There is more to this game than meets the eye.
I gotta say, and it'll be a hard sell, but there is one secret role left that we know nothing about.zeek wrote:Or you're the Master, because you're the Master. Are you joking?Chris wrote:I gotta say, and it'll be a hard sell, but there is one secret role left that we know nothing about.
Epignosis wrote:Bitch, my identity is my identity theft protection!
I thought two secret roles still exist. Oh, wait, The Recruiter is one. Right.Chris wrote:There isn't a secret role we don't know anything about?
I did say it would be tough for Dom to sell. I'm not saying he's it... but that last secret role does exist.
I'm inclined to believe MP's thoughts from yesterday on that. Keys seems pretty upset fingersplints has been passed over on the replacement list. I bet she can't replace in because she was that secret role.Chris wrote:There isn't a secret role we don't know anything about?

I do think this game really got out of hand in a few different ways, and I'm as much to blame as anyone. I'm actually going to feel kind of bad if it turns out you are the Master at this point because of the lack of deductive reasoning any of us (except Zeek) used to get there.Dom wrote:I am so saddened that THIS is how we play Mafia now.
People playing horribly is causing people to come to faulty conclusions. Love it.
I think there's nothing wrong with a healthy amount of gut being involved in Mafia decisions. Reasoning is also important of course. You need both for Good Mafia. I really just said it was a good lynch because I found it really interesting, and my suspicions changed over the course of it based on what I read, and there were some funny jokes in there too... I had fun!DFaraday wrote:I do think this game really got out of hand in a few different ways, and I'm as much to blame as anyone. EBWOP: Wow, LC, you're saying pretty much the exact opposite of what I said.

And?zeek wrote:Except I've been dead half the game.Chris wrote:LC, what if zeek knew who Dom was because he's "the recruiter"?
He tried and failed to recruit Dom. I find that to be an idea worth thinking about.Chris wrote:LC, what if zeek knew who Dom was because he's "the recruiter"?
Nope... I don't think that's how it is. I see it as The Recruiter and The Neutral LMS With Some Power We Don't Know. Or Evil instead of Neutral, but they ain't killing, soAlso, LC, do you like the idea of the "Jacob" vs "MIB" theory with 2 of the secret roles?
Is that why there's been a dip in recruits??zeek wrote:Except I've been dead half the game.Chris wrote:LC, what if zeek knew who Dom was because he's "the recruiter"?
Lynch me then, you'll be absolutely mortified when you find out who I am.Chris wrote:And?zeek wrote:Except I've been dead half the game.Chris wrote:LC, what if zeek knew who Dom was because he's "the recruiter"?
MP and Hedgie jointly agreed to rezz zeek.Long Con wrote:He tried and failed to recruit Dom. I find that to be an idea worth thinking about.Chris wrote:LC, what if zeek knew who Dom was because he's "the recruiter"?
Let me know if I'm mistaken, but did we clear Zeek of being a Dalek (all dead) or a Cyberman (they killed him)? So, The Recruiter would be a fine possibility for him. Can you imagine if we rezzed The Recruiter?! Wow. Who was responsible for that rez?
Am I playing horribly? If so, please let me know how.Dom wrote:I am so saddened that THIS is how we play Mafia now.

Dear lord, people, you won't vote for Dom because you think I'm making assumptions and then you all jump to them yourself.keys56000000000 wrote:Zeek tried to recruit Dom, failed, thus knows him to be The Master? It's plausible, for sure.
Is that what you were hoping for? Is that why you went all apeshit getting Dom lynched? I suggest you all reassess.
"Aww, btw, thanks for finding the Master."
That's cool guys, why don't you suspect me for it now?
Yeah Chris, cause I was taking sooooo much heat before I did that.Chris wrote:Is that what you were hoping for? Is that why you went all apeshit getting Dom lynched? You thought you'd get a free ride to the end of the game with it?
Getting civ cred is not the same as trying to remove heat.zeek wrote:Yeah Chris, cause I was taking sooooo much heat before I did that.Chris wrote:Is that what you were hoping for? At least Dom isn't Strax, right? So that's good. And how would Strax *know* that Dom is The Master. Strax never tried to kill Dom.keys56000000000 wrote:I can't help but note how both Dom and Zeek have expressed how much we would regret lynching them, after LC warned everyone not to let a Strax lynch happen..

Zeek, if you hadn't insisted that you *know* that Dom is The Master, then you would have nothing but congratulations for good detective work. You understand why I came to that conclusion, right? I mean, no hard feelings because it makes sense, maybe? Doesn't it??
Well, when Roxy died, zeek was dead. But there are a few in the game who insist/strongly suggest that MR was the unknown Dalek. I thought it was Daisy. So FWIW, it's not looking like he's the unknown Dalek. And besides, the Dalek kill didn't come back.Long Con wrote:He tried and failed to recruit Dom. I find that to be an idea worth thinking about.Chris wrote:LC, what if zeek knew who Dom was because he's "the recruiter"?
... did we clear Zeek of being a Dalek?
Well, unfortunately, if Zeek is The Recruiter and failed to recruit Dom because The Master can't be recruited... then your own information that you can't reveal about why Dom is The Master could easily spring from you being a recruit and having access to the same info Zeek does. Or you being the Recruiter and Zeek being a recruit also works in that scenario... Zeek would be an excellent recruit since we know he's not Cyber or Dalek, and you'd be a good recruit because you're influential and hard to nail down as a baddie.Epignosis wrote:What about me, sir?Long Con wrote:Everyone wants The Master dead ASAP, Civvies and Recruiter alike.

Good night, I'd love for you to at least acknowledge that my theory that you're The Recruiter makes sense logically, and isn't just some ignorant half-cocked theory full of wild assumptions.zeek wrote:I don't need civ cred, people generally trusted me up until this point.

linki - no prize here, but expect Dom to pretend to have used one.

What if I told you that I was good, got recruited, then got recruited AGAIN, and then got a new power.
That'd be trippy, wouldn't it?
It might make sense to you, I can see that, however it does have a wild assumption in it. That there is no way I could know what I know, within the known roles. I can tell you that reasoning and logic took me most of the way there, but something else took me the rest.Long Con wrote:Good night, I'd love for you to at least acknowledge that my theory that you're The Recruiter makes sense logically, and isn't just some ignorant half-cocked theory full of wild assumptions.

Also, Chris, I wanted to let you know what your quote signature was supposed to say... what the Generator made it into is 1000x better, but the original statement was "Strax's kill tonight hopefully factors into my suspicions."
