I've had a hankering for more walrusing lately. So why not do a mini walrus?

I will be having a very special visitor soon and we would like to do two categories while she is here. This will be pretty simple: we each give a score, combine them for a total, and we each give a small write-up. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Some of you will remember her from previous walruses! I will be doing this with Lyris.

The categories are:

(1) Home
Is there a song that signifies "home" to you? Perhaps this is about coming home, or finding a new home, feeling like you are home, or something nostalgic from where you grew up. Anything that means home to you is fair game for this category.

(2) A New Beginning
You've toiled in a miasma of darkness for so very long, but the fog is finally lifting. There is a light, you follow it, and now there is something new starting. There is a transition happening in your life. This is the song that represents it.

Sub cap, deadline, and reveals

We are limiting submissions to 15 people, to keep things sane.

The deadline for submissions is September 22.

Reveals will be done on Sunday, September 25 and Sunday, October 2. The specific time is, right now, undetermined, but expect somewhere in the neighbourhood of 1 PM PST.
