Mac stopped and listened outside the door. Marmot really did not snore. The room was quiet as can be. He stepped inside.

"Hello?" No reply. He opened the curtains to let the morning light in, revealing a horrific sight.

The bunk bed was not a bunk bed anymore. It was just splinters on the ground.
