Looks at roles again....

I wrote a long post and then windows shut me down before I could post to apply updates. Usually it warns me...but anyway, I'm not inclined to re-write. I do want to say this though, I feel exactly the same way as LT about the issue of Snow Dog and MP. I've tried to fit this explanation into the roles as they are defined but I just don't see it. Maybe it has something to do with the secrets and I just can't figure out what but it is bothering me. I haven't made a decision on Snow dog yet for that reason and because I want to hear what LT has to say after she has looked further at the situation. I'm also trying my best to see a situation where you are right and she is wrong, but again, I'm willing to wait until she reviews further.

And MP I know you don't feel like you have in an unconcerned way talked about civv roles as LT said but I feel the same way on that issue too.

I haven't decided you are bad, and actually have seen more of civv MP this game. I just wanted to note that there are some things that bother me that I don't know you can explain adequately enough for me to feel comfortable, but at this point it's just making me keep you in my sights.

I haven't given much thought to Elocin(sp) this game and I know you MP asked for thoughts on her. I will re-read her and give you my read for what it's worth.

As things stand right now I'm still leaning toward a Dom vote though someone earlier, timmer maybe, made a good point that he is likely Snake Mountain. I too would much rather get a Horde so let's see what develops here.

Also, this probably goes without saying but not being able to understand kate is making me crazy.

Wow, that sucks with the updates, I hate when you lose a giant post like that. Does this mean reywaS might be silenced then instead? I was hoping we could hear out of him today, but I do know he is/was gone and such too.

JC, the problem is, I don't think it's necessarily a matter of right vs. wrong or me vs. LT. I do NOT think that's what's going on here. What I do think is going on here is that the Horde has some powerful ass technology or something because that's the only explanation I've been able to draw from all of this and it's why I've been so fixated on getting these guys decimated and why I think they have been very, very carefully and diligently been guiding the discussion. I also sincerely believe that what is helping them do that is that we have at least one no show and at least one low poster on their team. I could be wrong there, but it would make sense given all of my current spreadsheet assumptions.

I know there are some unexplained factors, but it should be evident that there is a LOT of behind the scenes stuff this game, so this relationship is not the only weird thing going on this game. Let's see, how many lynch switches have we had? First timmer to Rox, 1. Then BWT to BF, 2. Then Dom to Orson, that's 3. 3 lynch switches, that's a ton, especially with still 20 players and tons of game to go. We also have all the strange night polls that seem to have had different consequences every time (or none whatsoever from what I can tell, but that's for all I know) that don't seem connected at all to the lynch switches or to what's happened to me here. We also have TWO technology/treasure roles, one on each team, as well as Evil-Lyn and Shadow Weaver (though Evil-Lyn has been dead for a long time), and Zodac (and even the Sorceress, but she seems civvie-aligned, and while Zodac does too, Sorceress seems more so), so while there are not a lot of roles with "(Secrets)" behind them, we all know there is stuff going on this game. I realize I am privy to this perhaps even a bit more with all of this Snow Dog stuff, but I imagine other people have had other unexplained events as well this game, so what I need is for people to trust their reads of me, my behavior from me, the fact that Snake Mountain tried to kill me and that I had been one of the major reasons BWT was indeed lynched when he was, etc.

Think about it. If I were bad and specifically Horde, how would my actions make sense? Why would I defend Snow Dog, if he were also Horde, so strongly all throughout the game and especially right now? Trust me, if I was Horde and Snow Dog was my Horde teammate, I would have dumped his ass certainly before this day period. I know that's WIFOM, but it's against an argument that's being brought against me that's equally WIFOM.

FH: I understand this, but if you are civvie like I think you are, you need to seriously consider things and the fact that you might be wrong if you do not have me pegged as civvie this game. How could Orson know Snow Dog is bad, and realize that I have inside knowledge, or I like to believe I do, that I believe something is being caused by Horde technology, and we very well ALSO see what happened to DH with the Slime Pit, so I have a strong belief that Hordak is still alive and that he has been gunning for technology night after night. Why wouldn't he if he's been successful? All they need to do is keep the attention off the Horde for so long. They did it with going along with Snake Mountain, they did it with DH, so what they had to throw BWT under the bus when LT and I were onto him, they still could have 5 people and if I, LT, or Snow Dog, or anyone else who I have NOT been advocating a lynch for today gets lynched, it will do nothing but further their cause.

LT: It is incredibly alarming, it should be. I have been driven to ultimate paranoia ever since FH and then more so you came in here saying Snow Dog is a good idea for lynch. I realized it's game time, and that obviously I wasn't getting through to people that this is a baaaaad way to be looking for a lynch. I'm not saying that (with regards to your second paragraph), but your theory makes more sense than me and Snowie being baddie teammates, that's for sure.

FH: I wholeheartedly agree with DFaraday and you could very well be right about reywaS. I will look back at both of their posts again whenever I get a chance. I looked back at DFaraday's when I was compiling the low posters and I do not feel that good about him anymore. But I seriously need to study as I'm still behind schedule just a bit, PLUS I have this week/weekend's stuff to get done, plus I do have to work some today.

Here's the thing MoPi, I don't believe you. You're caught and you're constructing this elaborate lie to try to explain why Snow Dog might be bad but not YOU. I've been there, done that too - and I just don't believe you. You are claiming things that do not fit and that are not true. And while I'm sure there ARE secret things here - you are still lying about some of the stuff you're saying. Period. You are omitting some very relevant details in your assumptions, and the devil is in the details, my friend - that's how I know you're lying. If you were who you say you are you would include those details, since they're part of the truth.

Personally, I'd feel best lynching MoPi today. I am pretty sure Snow Dog is his teammate, but that is less sure to me than the fact that MoPi is bad. If we lynch him, I am nearly certain we will get a Horde member.

My problem is just that MP seems to have a list of people he does not want to lynch, which has very little overlap with mine. He is suspicious of people I trust and vice versa, I'm suspicious of people he trusts. I am not ready to lynch him yet but I agree with FH that he is perhaps missing something in the roles.

I'm still leaning Dom. I could be talked into Rey maybe, his day 1 argument still to this day does not sit well with me.

This is WAY off the subject but why is it we are giving Ace a pass from the low-poster-may-be-bad group? He's been logged into RM for awhile this morning so why doesn't he come here and post? Maybe he has quit playing - but then maybe he is really low flying. I do not intend to vote for him this lynch I just wanted to bring this up while it's fresh on my mind (because I just saw that he was still logged in).

I have called in expert cryptology friends of mine and we've poured over Kates posts trying to crack the code and I think we've got it.

Firstly, I think the most important post of Kate's is the post of the gentleman with the rip in his pants. If we consider Kate's son Andrew is a huge fan of Spongebob, then this is obviously a reference to the Fool Who Ripped His Pants. Her other posts are all obviously references to splitting the vote, so what we have here is essentially Kate saying "You would be fools to split the vote".
