My plan is to not spend more time and energy on the game than I need to for it to be fun for me, try to go with what I think and where my gut leads me without overthinking too much, and try not to be upset with myself if/when I'm wrong about things, and try not to make the fear of being wrong hold me back.

You could talk about your suspicion on Rico, and how your reads have developed overall, to help maybe?

I suspect Violet a little if Rico is mafia, because he was quite resistant to target Violet with our action (we didn't know what it would do), while he didn't hesitate on Ruri or TSP. Meaningless if Rico is town, but maybe has meaning if he's mafia. I don't know.

I don't know, SPF. My start of the game, before I had actually read the whole game, is just me saying stuff to make things happen to myself. That is normal. I don't have a specific point in mind with everything I say, especially this early. I'm just trying to form a game view and see how I feel about it. And I'm also trying to just talk to people. I don't really know what you expect or feel like you're missing from me, if anything. I thin my play so far has been normal me-stuff, quite open, if a bit low energy or calm. But the whole game feels like that.

Actually, let me say something about my process that I think to be true or true enough. I'm not very big on analyzing single posts in succession, as in doing an ISO and say that this and this could be scummy and this and that feels towny. I feel like town are prone to say scummy shit all the time. We will always have a gap between us from just being individual players with individual processes. I'm really interested to learn everyone's process in general. I find it helpful, and I also just find it interesting. What I do find directive for myself when it comes to specific posts is when I see a post I feel only town would post, or a certain player only would say something (or take a line) as town. I've found that to be more reliable. For example, I think Mist is more likely to get annoyed by Sloonei wasting posts as town. Other than that it's a lot of overall vibes, or how players feel in conversation. Part of this is meta probably, where I have it. And then I question things that stick out to me or doesn't make sense to me that a player would think. At the same time I always have a thousand other thoughts that are possibilities, and I take mental notes (though I will attempt making them physical this game, it's finals after all lol). This is often about interaction. For example, I think that it's very unlikely the world is scum!you vs town!Dobby for how you went "Actually, I didn't rvs you, I thought you were being scummy", retroactively. Just didn't feel like how scum would talk to town. Now that I'm saying it, I don't know if it's as strong, but it's something I noted. Sometimes I feel like nobody really is good at being town - or rather, nobody is really good at reads or have a high read accuracy over time. Being town is of course about other things than being right. Being mafia is much easier. But I also find it very stressful, so I rarely enjoy myself when I'm mafia. This is probably not that interesting nor relevant, but in short, video mafia is cool and you should all play when it happens =p

I don't think I'm known to be the catcher of mafia as town tbh. I think my read accuracy is pretty average. And I'm very prone to second guessing, biasing everyone as town (because I want everyone to be town), and other shenanigans. I think my strengths as town is elsewhere. But if you believe in my abilities, that's good and great!

And of course, you can always ask and talk about mafia theory! It's an interesting topic for sure. I am quite busy these days, but don't hesitate to ask or reach out anyway. ^^
