Look, I'm seeing myself at the bottom of a few lists, and I guess I deserve that, but I'm Civ. So blah. Here I hang, nice and low. Pluck me.

Re: [NIGHT 4] - The Fellowship of the Ring Mafia (LoTR I)
She's talking, tone-wise I can't pick out a difference from the other game I was playing with her (where Vampires killed her), and when I ISO her, she's stimulating conversation, sounds genuine, and is bringing up salient points.
That's about as good as you can do in a game with no flips.
linki: Long Con It's MYLO after tonight, unless everyone's favorite town Vig gets trigger-happy (which he should IMO. Game's been narrowed down, and he ain't getting another night unless we lynch good)
So please, convince us of your towniness. Because in perpetual MYLO/LYLO (which we are getting into after tonight, barring Vig success), giving up looks more scummy than not.

Giving up is not necessarily scum indicative but it ought to me.
Mafia can benefit from townie sympathy and thus fake giving up.
Townies actually giving up doesn't help the town.

I'll try to do all of these asap. I'll go in order of what you listed. are we in 23 hour nights?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2018 3:38 pmGlor claimed town so we know he's town.
Sloonei came out Slooneiing. I and a few others expressed belief he was good. Mac said he was bad. Speed then replaced Sloonei and while not doing amazing, hasn't pinged me at all. Epi has also expressed belief he is good.
Mac and Wilgy more or less got himself lynched and Mac almost did the same but was nightkilled for some reason.
I'd appreciate it if you would ISO Juliets/Timmer, LC, Rabbit and weigh in on them.

I hate doing ISOs, they wear me out. So I am doing the best I can.
Juliets -
-Just replaced in as well, I've notices and already has 23 posts within a little over 4 hours. That's pretty nuts!
-First real topic of discussion was Mac being night-killed. She says there was not a lot of suspicion on him, so maybe a redirect? Or, she says he thought Jack and chuck were bad. But I am not sure if I would put Jack or chuck as bad at this point. A set-up looks more likely.
-At one point, she questions long cons motives for voting chuck.
-Engages Glorf on a vote matter.
-doesn't say much about timmer except that he is a quiet baddie from her memory, but that he was hurt somehow and had to replace out. I believe that was who I replaced
-votes wilgy because there is n better option in her opinion but she contemplates moving her vote and acts worried
-helpful to me as I replace in
overall, I think juliets seems civ.

-I don't like how he handles the suspicion that he and nutella are teammates. I know she turned out civ, but still.
Alright....I can see an LC vote in my future after reading through his posts. He just doesn't look civ to me

The answer: all of them, if you are a marmot.
Re: [NIGHT 4] - The Fellowship of the Ring Mafia (LoTR I)
Your Epi case was dumb. All you did was look at what I had done in previous games and compare it to this one. I do so many different things depending on what I believe should be required of me to win the game, and sometimes I do things to amuse myself. You can point to any behavior I've exhibited before and say "Epi isn't doing that here" and be correct. It's foolish.
I still don't suspect you. If you are a civilian, don't fuck this up.

At the Sign of the Prancing Pony
The Black Riders arrived at the Prancing Pony, looking for the Hobbits. They ransacked the room that was rented to them, but found no sign of them.
No one has been nightkilled.
Day 5 has begun. You have 48 hours to lynch somebody.

Time to come clean.
I'm Mister Frodo. Before Night 4, I possessed The Ring. It made me invulnerable to NK's and lynches. Unfortunately, Sauron found me last night and took it. Luckily, the ring protected me from the kill his team directed at me.
Unfotunately, that means he can most likely do some quite nasty shit with it. There are nine players left. We have yet to kill a baddie, which is fairly shameful. Everybody's feeling a malaise. We need to wake the fuck up.
If we fail to lynch a baddie today, Day 6 is LYLO.
Let's get fucking going, why don't we?

Lore-wise, seems like it.Glorfindel wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 12:26 amIf Sauron has the One Ring, it’s game over so it hardly matters now does it?
Game-wise, I don't think Marmot would create a game where a player only has to find the ring to win instantly. Which, by the way, since INH was invincible, had to happen eventually if Sauron didn't die. And Sauron might have other secrets anyway.
If the game was unwinnable, it wouldn't be still going.

Theoretically, Sauron could have found me N1. It seems like crummy game design for it to be possible for the game to be decided that early, so we have to assume that, regardless of the source material, it's still possible for the civilians to win, provided we lynch the right person.Glorfindel wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 12:26 amIf Sauron has the One Ring, it’s game over so it hardly matters now does it?

Glorfindel, it does matter now I think. First you say "If" so we don't know if Sauron has the ring. Second, as others have pointed out, if he does it doesn't end the game cause we're still playing. I am not convinced by LC's case either but I'm not sure if it's because I just can't read Epi at all or it's a poor case. I do think epic makes a good point that he is different in each game he plays - I find that to be true about him. And for whatever it's worth I have civ vibes about Epi.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 12:46 am I'm unconvinced by LC's Epi case and am considering voting LC today.

Maybe INH fakeclaimed. Is the game at that point where a fakeclaim would ensure a baddie win? Feels like a baddie win is all but unavoidable anyway. And INH wasn't on the chopping block at all, was he?
INH, can you give us all the details you know on your role? Do you know who Gandalf is?
I know my case on Epi is weak, but his rebuttal is also super weak. "I don't have a meta". Right. I'll vote Epi, and it probably won't matter.

Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.

No, I had just woken up and my head was all twisted around. I forgot someone had claimed, then I forgot it was INH and thought it was you, and I didn't even remember that Sauron was bad. I should never mafia early in the morning. At this point I don't have any reason to believe INH fake claimed, it doesn't make sense to me that he would have done that if he were bad. My posts just don't make any sense whatsoeverspeedchuck wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 11:29 amjuliets wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 7:12 amGlorfindel, it does matter now I think. First you say "If" so we don't know if Sauron has the ring. Second, as others have pointed out, if he does it doesn't end the game cause we're still playing. If you see something definitive about Epi please tell us.Glorfindel wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 12:26 amIf Sauron has the One Ring, it’s game over so it hardly matters now does it?I have never been more confused by a sequence of posts in my life. My assumption after Night 1 was that either LC or DFaraday was Frodo and the Ring protected one of them from being lynched.
If INH is Frodo, then one of them had to have been saved some other way.
Gandalf doesn't have secrets.
Sauron - Sauron may search each night for The Ring, roleblocking his target in the process. (Secrets)
But Sauron does.

INH was not involved in the Day 1 lynch.Marmot wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 2:59 pm
Frodo - Frodo is the Bearer of The Ring. (Secrets)
Gandalf - Gandalf may once (each) in the game, roleblock another player, protect another player, and nightkill another player. He may only perform one of these actions each night.
Sauron - Sauron may search each night for The Ring, roleblocking his target in the process. (Secrets)

I guess I should.
Epi your deduction about the lynch is very interesting. There is no reason for Sauron to save me so I see your point as another mark against LC unless someone can come up with a plausible alternate theory of what happened.

Orrrrrr you guys could remember that Marmot likely invoked a No Lynch due to the Day 1 tie.
Which was discussed already. But nice try.
