i'm the pirate rigger from FTL mafia, and I'm a 3P... yep.
i have an array of actions to help me achieve my wincon, which is to outlast "The Rebel Flagship". in general i assumed this could be a 3p role (due to the outlast wincon), but i'm starting to think it could be mafia aligned once i dived deeper into the lore.
among my actions, i do have one shoot strongman (so i'm assuming that guy must be staaaaaacked) and seeing all of these role flips it's probably more and more likely that it is a mafia role? since the other mafia roles have been a tetris guy, vanilla goon and silencer. so no reason to take me out for now.
and yes, i do leave the game victorious if that space ship dies.
it would make more sense to me if the rebel flagship was ANOTHER 3p and we both had to take out the other in order to win the game, but seeing all of these claims itt and the mafia roles + the rebel flagship's role in FTL mafia (which was mafia) it may actually be just mafia. the claims itt have been crazy as it is so anything is possible and seeing the mafia roles flipped until now, you'd expect there's gotta be a buffed guy as well.

Between those two Ted made his claim and I found out I can't steal gambit demon powers.
Ted's claim has some potential to be real, but also I can't steal his redirection anyways. The reason for yeeting ted first was cus his alison abilities have potential to fuck with night stuff. but also.... there's potential that if Ted's claim is real he can become solved by just getting his adversarial role tonight.
but that's sort of what I'm asking about, I guess. should i let him try to do that or should i just steal his shit regardless.

in the abstract, the only things I know 100% for sure about last night was that I aimed for ted and hit mafia (or technically possibly town) which if Ted is telling the truth means I was redirected.

but then also also that's sort of assuming that Martin and my targeting ted both got sippy swapped to a wolf there is a scenario where mafia master radishes told the truth about everything else but redirected my thing to a teammate and the kill failed for different reasons. but that requires extra steps and MR is probably just town

I was thinking about something similar, like if we could all claim our flavour to try and narrow it down for him? There are a couple of problems with that, of course. An obvious one being that people still fear the Soup Kill or something similarly punishing, and since the rules say to be cautious about it... I guess it's likely. I don't think Soup Kill, but Epi is creative and there are many possible variants on the theme.
Another reason being that I don't want to dance around for a caught wolf with a slick story. Kyle's unique parity check is extremely damning, if it is true. Both have good role explanations.
I just had a thought that maybe ted is the Rebel Flagship, not the 3p Pirate Rigger. Maybe there is no Pirate Rigger. Maybe Sloonei is enthusiastically embracing the Simpsons thing in order to give ted another night.
If I were bad, and struck by the imperative to quote the Simpsons, my whole team would be tasked with scouring Simpsons scripts for innocuous, usable quotes that don't immediately give it away. Sloonei didn't try anything like that.

Ok, so if ted + kyle are both telling the truth, then that means there was a redirection in play. As far as I am aware, we haven't heard of any evidence of there being a redirector at all, other than Radishes who claims to have targeted ted. This means either Radishes is lying + scum or there's another person out there with a redirecting ability who is keeping quiet.

If your target was redirected by a villager, then they would speak up and let us know who the REAL wolf is that rang your bell.
If your target was redirected by a wolf, then they would have targeted themselves or a teammate with it. Had your power been presented in such a way that the advantage (fake-red-check on your intended target) was likely enough to get them to follow that plan?

possibly. I was trying to be vague on purpose but I think by the time 112 got yote I had revealed enough that someone paying attention enough would know how to mess with my results if they had the resources required.
