Re: Traitors for Exile

@Gavial we have a hammer.
Cool. As long we aren't considering lynching him tomorrow he should be a fine exile.
Not anywhere useful. I have been following along somewhat, but it's all so nebulous. I am not a Traitor. I will go with Marmot's lead, and sheep the common ideal, because I know there's no team effort behind a sensible resistance to the town. Some Traitor might slip through our fingers due to a bad green check, or they might not.

The host has already declared one Traitor for us.
Look at voting poll.
The host says "I work with him"
And we know the famous saying, "If you know the criminal and keep sush about it, you are the equal criminal they are]
The host knows who the criminals are. The traitors. He is the criminal along with them.
But we can spare the host.
So basically he said he works with Murphy. So Murphy is the Traitor.
Ez.
@Wiml It's not about the conclusion and you reading me town but the fact that you were wrong. You mentioned something about four other townies over a greencheck to be exiled + some wording with "exiling 1,2 traitors would be okay" I wasn't sure about that and hence I said in the thread I'll review it later, but you believed in a wrong argument and was bold about it. Generally seen as a wolf trait.Wiml wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 2:33 pm@PoisonPoison wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 12:16 pmCan you quote the post from where you interpreted "Wiml wrote: ↑Sun Jun 06, 2021 9:27 am Poison's reaction to my suggestion that we don't just exile her every day wasn't great (because yeah I'm literally suggesting a strategy that close to guarantees we don't lose to exile regardless of any single player's alignment) but I think that the assertion from her that me not supporting a winning town strategy from her PoV makes me less likely to be town is probably towny? (Even though it's a very flawed assessment mechanically).
I was hesitant seeing how desperate she seemed to be to get exiled repeatedly but I think it's less likely that she immediately jumps to calling me a wolf without understanding what I'm suggesting if she's actually a wolf?
Not entirely sure on this yet but it was a thought I had.
Poison's reaction to my suggestion that we don't just exile her every day wasn't great"
@Wiml
If you are reading correctly and then coming to this conclusion then you are framing me without a base.
If you are reading it wrong and then posting so boldly then I would suggest you to take some time before making a conclusion.
Now, about your opinion and the whole exile thing,
1. I was against exiling the same person twice. I have talked about it in more than one post. I have even referred to Creature and said his plan about exiling the same person to win won't be a good idea at all. For that I asked Gavial and confirmed my doubts and clearly stated I am against exiling a single player twice, every day shouldn't be a question there at all.
2. Your strategy about exiling was what I was against not that I wanted to get exiled myself. Again just quote me. Cause you can't make up stories against me that never happened. The fact that you said I'm desperate about getting exiled is wayyy too much, I haven't even self voted or asked a single player to vote for me. I just didn't want you to be exiled because of my earlier concerns.
@MacDougall yeah traitors don't know who other traitors are but they are moving their wands and things would be happening like magic.
I came to the conclusion that your actions were towniet and that I felt a bit better about you actually being town.
I don't understand what you're against at all then? My entire suggestion was never to exile the same person twice and then you went off at it? I absolutely agree that shouldn't be the case.
Yeah but... you still haven't explained why that argument is wrong.Poison wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 2:59 am@Wiml It's not about the conclusion and you reading me town but the fact that you were wrong. Didn't you just say 112 could be wolfing?MacDougall wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 5:31 am Can someone make an argument against us just all agreeing to my plan then rolling it?
I think the main issue is with Marmot's peeks tbh. It might be better to just agree to speed hammer for a few rounds so the pool of people Marmot can peek is larger?MacDougall wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 5:31 am Can someone make an argument against us just all agreeing to my plan then rolling it?
Nah, we can exile literally whoever as long as the same person doesn't get exiled twice. I'd prefer marmot to have control over the chop.MacDougall wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 6:39 am wouldn't the safe option here now be to just chop who we've exiled?
If they die they will be revealed to be the Anti-CopMacDougall wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 3:42 am @Gavial is it meant to be ambiguous whether the anti cop has flipped or not?
