I'm fine with the Nero lynch though the amount of votes makes me think we might not be hitting mafia. I'll be voting for Ika atm.

An ika lynch would be okay with me too.

If Nerolunar is bad, I'm looking for posts like this one:
Sorsha wrote:Yeah. I'm voting Nero too. I could also vote ika, I'd like him to explain what "the point" actually was when he said "that's not the point"here I kinda want to vote LC too over the "slip" too. Not totally sure if it was one but seems like strange wording otherwise.
This tells me Sorsha is voting Nero for "Yeah" but she's setting up the next lynch because she's going to look better for voting him. So Long Con has to go next, right? Right guys?

Then, right after:
ika wrote:

Or you can vote me, I think the point should be self explaintory
This just sounds like shit ika would say to a teammate.

There's just such little participation here, it's difficult to work out anybody's opinions. I vote and make a case and people follow that.

THIS is why civilians lose. It isn't because of mechanics (most of the time) and it isn't because of balance (most of the time).

It's because civilians don't try.

Try goddamnit.

Sorry I've been MIA the past few days. Life got in the way. Been keeping up with the thread a bit, but haven't had the chance to post and missed the last lynch (apologies to players and host for that. I hate missing votes). Done with travel now and the super-busy part of Passover (our latest in Jewish holiday fun) is past us. I should be able to play for real now.

Voting Nero, so I don't forget to vote, or in case I get caught up in things to do at work tomorrow. I didn't like his vote for me or for DF. I don't think he's civ.

If Long Con knew Spacedaisy's role, then this is definitely a slip. I realize it doesn't make him mafia, but it could still be a slip, unless Long Con isn't lying in saying that was a typo.

I think that line would be a good one to lie detect (if that role is still around).

Did nero have this many votes in Arkham when he was lynched?

Since it seems like he has lots of votes and not really any push to stop him from getting lynched. Having said this I could see his teammates especially a player like Ika bussing him.

Are you saying you think Im being bussed? Im not being bussed, just mislynched and its unsettling how many people are fine with it. I guess I should have amped up my civvieness to avoid it but I have honestly had trouble generating well-documented reads. Failing to tone-read correctly got people mislynched and it sucks to be a part of that.

If I do ultimately get lynched tonight, I want you guys to make use of my death and catch some scum. Otherwise this game is just going to be sad.

I'm trying to walk through this timeline of events.

Thu Apr 14, 2016 5:49 pm, Silverwolf was killed Night 1 in Downton Abbey.

Mon Apr 18, 2016 10:01 am, the host of MCS announces that Silverwolf has been killed Night 1.

Mon Apr 18, 2016 9:47 pm, ika sends a PM to the host of MCS expressing guilt for killing Silverwolf.

As noted, ika didn't want to read the MCS thread out of guilt, and indeed stayed away for a stretch. Before that stretch, there was this exchange:
ika wrote:
a2thezebra wrote:
ika wrote:I'm on break but anyone who thinks I wouldn't kill silver n1 is being redoicolus.
So you did kill her.
If I was scum, yes that would be the case.
The contrast here is that, in Downton Abbey, Nerolunar said he did not think ika would kill his "anchor" Night 1. Given MCS, we now see that isn't the case. ika's claim is that he would not kill Silverwolf Night 1 Silverwolf thinks ika is good. Can we check this box?
Silverwolf wrote:I like daisy and ika for civ right now.
We can.

Regarding the avoidance of the thread, ika only had two posts Night 1, and after that was silenced, so it's difficult to make anything out about his thread activity after Silverwolf was killed. When he could speak, however, he did so with a measure of fervor.

In MCS, ika accused MP of killing Silverwolf. They were teammates, so if one wanted to take ika's reputation as a busser into consideration, we have the following:
ika wrote:
Epignosis wrote:Let me run this question by you, ika: Instead of telling Lord Grantham what he should have done, why not tell us who you think murdered Silverwolf? That would be the most helpful use of your time. I find it bizarre that I should even have to raise this question to you.
well im goign to look at her read and lynch the people she was supecting and go from there.

i knwo dfar was one of them so im starting there tommorw

daisy is a close second

ill have to read the rest of he reads
DFaraday wasn't bad. Spacedaisy wasn't bad. If we're looking for evidence of a bussing, we come up short.

As a whole, all of this suggests to me that the two Silverwolf Night 1 kills are a coincidence.

I agree with some more looking at and discussing, so I'm in the midst of ISOing Dom a bit. Looking at his votes, they're  . First vote to put BWT ahead of DF on Day 1, both Civs. Day 2, voted Illy and (Civ) Wilgy also voted her. Bubbles/bea was Civ-lynched. Day 3 votes for (nightkilled, likely Civ/Doctor) Spacedaisy while Lorab gets the most votes and DF is surprise lynched. Day 4 he votes Daisy over sig before the Wilgy train even got started.

Linki: Quite the ika story there, Epi. So, just to be clear, you believe that Silver reading ika as Civ makes ika a likely Civ?

I don't think vote records will help much right now.

I just looked through them, and every player that has received more than 3 votes this game has been a confirmed civ (lynched) or most likely civ (nightkilled) with the only exception being Lorab. But her "save"that was switched to DFaraday was executed with a civilian power so even that non-lynch doesn't provide any insight.

My point is everyone has a terrible vote record to this point. But hey, if you think you can, feel free to prove me wrong.

I wouldn't put it like that. When comparing the ika-killing-Silverwolf in MCS and the somebody-killing-Silverwolf here, which happened in the span of a few days, I saw some distinct differences that give me the impression that ika didn't kill Silverwolf here.

Dammit. Sorry Nero. I came to my senses too late.

I think ika should be next to go. And I think at least a couple of those on the Nero train should be heavily looked at over the next few cycles.
Starting to be more unsure about Epi. I thought at first he and Polo could have had BTSC but his cases have been...bad, to say the least.

RIP Nerolunar. I was actually going to switch my vote to you, but I didn't realize the lynch had already ended.

THIS is why civilians lose. It isn't because of mechanics (most of the time) and it isn't because of balance (most of the time).

It's because civilians don't try.

Try goddamnit.
This post sounds like someone who knows the person he is lynching is bad.

It sounds like someone who is capitalizing on a civ train and using it to make him seem like he is tryin his hardest when the train collapses
