Did Kylemii just scum-slip?
whaddya mean
He gives a comparison:
Last game (scum): confident opinions, defended players who were civ, voted for his teammates, acted trustworthy
This game (unknown): I have few opinions because I haven't been around.
Not: I have few opinions because I'm town.
So... Ugh... Luna, is that a serious case? Like, you legit think his word choice here is a scumslip? Or is this a desperate attempt at a case to take pressure off of you...
Honestly, no. My use of the term "scum slip" was a little heavy. I just wanted to point out that Kylemii's excuse for not "being on top of things" was because he's "busy."

"I would be willing to lynch X, Y, Z, or maaaaaaybe W" is literally how I have described player salad in the past.

I have narrowed down my vote candidates for today and am going to vote for Soneji. I've read back through Jay's case on him a couple of times and buy his points. One thing that I disagree with is Jay agreeing with Soneji about LC being suspect for talking about mechanics. In the world LC and I come from asking mechanics in the thread was something that was done so everyone could see the answers, it was normal and we even had one person known for his abilities in that area. So I don't find LCs asking about mechanics a scum tell at all.

I could also see a vote for INH.

Sorry, what exactly are the points against Soneji? In your own words, brief as possible.
Oh sorry.

1. The fact that he tried to make your talking about mechanics a scum tell (Jay agree with Soneji on this)
2. He explained that he thought Owners Deathly Hallows/Dark Arts thing was a scum slip because he had scum slipped on minor things such as this which is a vague unverifiable way to promote a slip; and when bad guys promote false slip dialogue they usually feel the need to justify try to negate the controversy that surrounds scum slips (the basics of this point and the ones that follow are from Jays case)
3. He smears Qwner for talking about her suspicions so much but people were asking her about it all day - should she just not have responded?
4. He mischaracterizes one of Luna's post.
5. His reasons for voting Turnip Head are not that persuasive. He worms his way into a vote for TH who wanted his head without it seeming like a no-u.

I'm not sure about some of my wording there but I hope it is understandable.

An example of a mafioso (Golden in Phenon Mafia) promoting a slip accusation -- this is the sort of thing I had in mind when I spoke of the way Soneji handled the proposed Owner slip. It isn't identical, though the approach is similar (a "real" slip implies some concrete experience with it, akin to Soneji's claims of his own previous little slips which would have been "real").

I'm going to read through the original post again, but if you're right this is a great catch. This is what a real slip looks like.

It was really that there were a series of things that spoke to him being bad, not just one or two things. Item 2 was the most interesting to me because I had never thought of it that way and also item 5 because it was so clever, hidden so well. Also, I did say from the beginning that your case is what convinced me and no, that does not mean if Soneji is good I will try to somehow lay that at your doorstep.

The Confident Kid

The students realized they would never save their school if they tried to do it in low numbers. They had to team up. So they held a meeting in the Room of Requirement. Kids from all houses came, wanting to help find who was killing their colleagues.

They took turns doing speeches. Some talked more than others, but everyone wanted to contribute.

There was a kid who was a bit different, though. He didn't talk too much, but whenever he did, he made very strong and confident remarks. He pointed at people in that same room and said "I am confident he is one of the culprits".

Something about his attitude pissed the other kids off. Who did he think he was? What evidence did he have to his bold claims?

The next time he did that, one of the other students yelled: "ENOUGH! You are not helping, you are just spying on us. You are one of the New Death Eaters!"

He tried to defend himself, but the mob couldn't be contained. They all started firing spells on him.

Soneji (Hogwarts Student) was lynched.

Rightbackatcha from Glorf,

Yes, dear friend, we are once again engaged in Mafia combat. That said, I am honoured and privileged to have people of your calibre and character here to play with. There is no hate here from me (not towards you at least) and I trust you may join me in the civil and respectful exchange of friends as befits a true gentleman as yourself. It is indeed a beautiful opportunity and I too, am happy to share it with you.

My apologies for sleeping in through last EoD. I was exhausted and forgot to set the alarm :(

I see that Master-Sloonei has joined us in place of poor Owner. This is great news in my view. This game now contains the elite of Mafia experience and skill of the Syndicate and I look forward to a cracking game!
