I stand by most of it, and also it was useful for me in forming my opinions at the time. what do you have against my effort in providing reads?ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 7:50 pm My vote on Eloh was very flippant and not the end of my thinking. I didn’t like her response to dunya putting on heat earlier either, and I am of course not buying her stance toward me. I think it looks dishonest that you were comfortable voting for somebody you didn’t appear to suspect the most with very, very, very little prodding.nutella wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 7:56 pmnot rendered useless at all. why does it look dishonest? I did suspect you the most at that time. I found your eloh vote post extremely suspicious and decided to throw a vote on you, with the caveat that I felt I should probably let you respond and so I said that I would likely move my vote to dunya (which I have now done) since she is also a top suspect of mine. I felt that you were worthy of a pressure vote that could easily have turned into a lynch vote had more people been on board with it. I placed my vote where I felt like placing it at the time. Nothing dishonest about it.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 7:58 pmI think it looks dishonest that you were comfortable voting for somebody you didn’t appear to suspect the most with very, very, very little prodding.nutella wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 7:56 pmnot rendered useless at all. This is good stuff right herenutella wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 7:44 pmalso like... the main thing I didn't like about your post was the vague "I like the argument against her" without specifying which argument you meant, and when I asked for elaboration you just say "her posts ring false" and state your own reasoning of being wary of her not reading the thread -- was that the argument you were referring to that you had "seen put forth against her"? again it's not a very good one and your other reason is empty.nutella wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 7:35 pmI made the rainbow before I saw that post. Anyway Eloh has been reading, she said that she only skipped day 0 but is doing her best to keep up from the beginning of d1 on. I don't think you really have any other reason and you just jumped on what looked like an easy vote.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 7:28 pmWhat’s there to hate about it? Elohcin’s posts ring a little false to me, and while she has some very good excuses, like I said I am wary of the “not reading the thread” thing. It’s not helpful if you’re town and I just saw it help secure a win in AG. I’m not caught up so I may change my vote but let me just say I find it very strange that you put me in the middle of a rainbow list and yet here your vote is on me...nutella wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 4:08 pmmmmmmm I hate this post!! please elaborate on your thoughts colinColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 1:02 pm I like the argument I've seen put forth against Elohcin.
[VOTE: ELOHCIN] aubergine
Because it will give us some focus.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:18 pm Colonialbob, why do you want 8 random people in the poll tomorrow versus the other options?
Why you gotta tunnel me so much man
I like that option this early actually. Focused discussion. Downside is you could randomly get no baddies but 8 is a decent sample size.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:18 pm Colonialbob, why do you want 8 random people in the poll tomorrow versus the other options?
I dunno. It almost seems like that’s the most prohibitive option — what if they’re mostly, or somehow all, town? I’d rather be trusted to pick my own scum out than lose an entire lynch cycle arbitrarily.colonialbob wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:20 pmBecause it will give us some focus.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:18 pm Colonialbob, why do you want 8 random people in the poll tomorrow versus the other options?
I'm not even 100% convinced you're bad but that's good analysis. Feels like town hunting.

I do like 1. It’s simple and will force people to make reads and take stances that we can then utilize if we catch a scum. The more vote-based content, the better. And it seems like it will be harder for scum to take advantage of than one that will no doubt kill a lot of people.insertnamehere wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:22 pm Excited for supatown Stumpignosis.
Out of the poll options, I'd suggest #1 or #6. More votes means that more people have to put forth their opinions, encouraging discussion. More deaths means a higher chance of killing a baddie and kicking things into high gear. Plus, if people start dying the thread'll become actually manageable.
I dunno, but I don’t like the thought of, say, only being able to vote for 3 of them when there are 6 total.colonialbob wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:27 pmGolden wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:21 pmI like that option this early actually. What’s the reasoning?
*shrug* restricting us to a pool of 8 is going to focus the town. In a game this big we need that.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:30 pmI dunno, but I don’t like the thought of, say, only being able to vote for 3 of them when there are 6 total.colonialbob wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:27 pmGolden wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:21 pmI like that option this early actually. I’m sympathetic to that view, but fundamentally, it’s ... icky.colonialbob wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 8:36 pm*shrug* restricting us to a pool of 8 is going to focus the town.
