Not really? I hadn't read the game much at the time, just skimmed over it and saw Dunya getting quick intuition reads on people and was like "oh, she's good at that, cool."

I'm going to reevaluate Dunya tomorrow when things feel less OMGUSy

I agree with dunya’s assessment of no lynch right now. I’m concerned about Luna’s joining in to toss a vote on TH for his suggestion though.

I didn't see it that way. I saw Spacedaisy giving 2 townreads, one possible scum read (Luna) and asking me why I was townreading TH which could imply she wasn't feeling as good about him and wanted to determine what it was I was seeing.

I'm more concerned with people who don't give opinions on other people.

also I'm always happy when people agree that a D1 No Lynch is a bad idea.

My read is that if dunya posts a lot and seems excited about solving the game and is being helpful, then she's town. But I don't think I've played a scum game with her, so I'm not sure how good she is at pretending to be town when she's not.

I’m going to do something noneof you are going to like, I’m voting Nova. Here’s why:

If Nova is civ and we do not lynch him, then if he continues to be a no show, the civs are effectively down another vote. It’s like an extra baddie kill. Because if he’s not here, then he won’t vote. I am always going to be a proponent of lynching MIA players. Not to be confused with low posting/activity players.

So all that to say, unless I have someone I am very certain of, I feel better voting for someone who isn’t playing. I will continue to do this in every game I play, because math people! Especially in a game this size.

I don’t feel like I have a solid bad read right now, obviously.

Dunya didnt suspect me that I ever saw. Dyslexicon did very breifly with no explanation but then changed it. Unless I missed any posts that's what I've seen. I'd have to re read dizzy posts to get an idea of where the suspicion is there.


Thus far nothing sticks out as super obvious to me. A few things that could go either way, but
I also don't have much point of reference for peoples playstyles since it's been awhile since I've been here and theres some newer people. I'll probably be working from home today due to the huge snow storm so I should have more time to read through again before placing a vote.

Your responses to suspicion seem very passionate. I don't think you would have that tone if you were scum. But I could be wrong.

the push itself was not random. I specifically said you, Quin and nova were in my suspect pool. the latter 2 hadn't checked into the thread yet and you had. checking in with "hi, dunya, hi!" and disappearing didn't sit well with me and I could see scum buddying motive behind it if I wanted to. also scum naturally lay low and you 3 also fit the criteria there.

also you should know i don't care if people don't agree with my reads. i wont scum read someone for disagreeing with who i find suspect. i will scum read someone who doesn't provide content and reasons on their reads if asked about it, though.

actually, speed called me out for it, and i told him that doesn't work because he was the instigator of introducing the theory of a cop and doc PR team into the thread. you should review my posts to see why i voted for speed and what i was seeing at the time, because it seems like you didn't catch that either.

Yeah, I know she was scum there. It didn't make me think dunya was scum any more, which I kind of wanted it to : p I'd like to read more games though if I have the time.
