Why can't you acknowledge the fact that every single player knew about Tribes from the moment the game began? You calling it a "secret game mechanic", in that light, is just not accurate. And we weren't huddled together, discussing GOC 2017, we were chatting about other stuff, and juliets was like "that could be a tribe name!" I hate that you keep painting as you have been, because it's not at all accurate. If you're worried that there's some behind-the-scenes stuff going on between hosts and players that in any way affects or disrupts the game, then I give you my 100% assurance that there was not.
It was a secret before the game. No one knew about it, we were all surprised when it happened. Becasue Golden did not tell anyone about it becasue it was a secret. Once the game started, no it wasn't. But you are claiming this happened before the game when it WAS a secret.
Funny enough, secrets before the game don't affect the game much.
If I was running a game with LC in it, and the game had item elections every day (not written in the host post), I'd have no problem revealing that secret to him.
I think Golden would though.
Everything he is saying the hosts did is utterly NOT what either of them would do. Ever.
There is a simple way to resolve this. LC is a graphics guy, he knows how to take a screenshot.
Pictures or it didn't happen.
I decided to play this, worried I could not handle an adversarial situation with a few people, and lo, it has come to pass. So I am going to walk away for at least today, maybe even tomorrow. I will check periodically for those pictures, though.

If the consensus is that LC1 was bad then LC2 would have to be by nature of the fact that mafia roles don't change alignment.

If the first LC is bad BECAUSE of the slip, then it's because he had BTSC. Explain how he could be town after BTSCing all over the place with his mates. Even if you think mafia roles can change, this is based on BTSC and lies about BTSC, supposedly.
That said, I don't think he's bad anymore.

Adding MP to the story is one of those odd, unnecessary details a good liar would add to make the story seem more authentic. MP is conveniently not a participant in this game, so he can't confirm or deny. On top of that, MP has been preoccupied lately with obtaining gainful employment.
I do not believe that Golden, juliets, Long Con, and MP were all on Facebook at the same time having a conversation, which is what Long Con's story requires you to believe ("we bounced ideas off each other"), and I don't believe that the topic of Tribes for the Game of Champions game came up.
juliets is a highly discreet person (I don't even know her real name). juliets doesn't strike me as a Pokemon person, so why would she come up with the name Pikachu for a tribe?
MP is an insanely busy person.
And Golden lives in fucking Australia.
