The weird thing is, if there's a town lynch, you're on the losing team there. And you're rubbing it in.

"Yeah, yeah we suck! I was technically right, but we suck and we failed. Haha!"

It's not a great team mentality and it makes people instinctively feel like you're not on their team.
That said, I usually want to rub it in after I get mislynched but I'm dead and can't talk. Which is probably a good thing.
