“The competition is heating up down there Bob. The racers are doing whatever they need to do to get ahead.”“Right you are, Darrell.
“Woah, would you look at that?!”
“What is it Darrell?”
“Right over there in Shu Todoroki’s pit. Looks like Acer has made his way over there and is puttin’ up a fuss about something. Oh man! Acer just shot at someone in the crew!”
“Wait, Darrell here comes security. Looks like Acer is backing off.”
“Woo wee, that was close. Let’s keep this race friendly folks. Let’s keep this race real friendly.”

Totally missed that night poll. Congrats on being the new Dinoco spokesperson, Roxy, you get to ride in the helicopter and everything!
Like BR, the next day or two is very busy, so I won't be around too much. Mostly late at night EST, I'd say.

Really awesome about no death. I suppose the killer was blocked or the target was protected (inherently or by someone else).
Where are players looking today?
It's late, but I intend on revisiting how the lynch went down yesterday to figure out where to go next, personally. I'm not sure yet.

Alright. I still haven't had a chance to catch up any since I last posted. Hopefully before work tomorrow, I will get a chance to.
Also, is each period only lasting 24 hours? Because I thought Day 1 wasn't ending until Friday. I'm incredibly confused about that.
Or simply stated, I'm really confused about everything that is happening right now. Because I haven't caught up yet. :P

Having thought about it and looked at the D1 votes again, honestly I'm looking most at Llama today. I'm still not really feeling too sure where to look, though I do have tentatively good vibes from a few players.
Other players that made votes yesterday that struck my attention: Boogs, DFaraday, LC, Made, and Snow Dog. Not sure what to make of them though.

Re: Disney Cars Mafia [Day 2]
Alright. So I am now finally caught up. And here's what I have so far.
-Ninja took quite a bit of flak for her post where she questioned why so many people were voting early on Day 1. And from what I gathered, llama got heat for seeming to be jumping on an "easy case". But I thought a lot of people seemed way too eager to vote for ninja, even with it being Day 1 and all. So I will be taking a good look at everyone who voted for her and got her lynched.
- Sabie and LC voted for me because I hadn't shown up. After I did show up, both of them continued to leave their votes on me. I remember sabie actively stating she was leaving her vote on me for missing the Day 0 poll. Honestly, if that's the only poll I miss, that doesn't mean anything at all. I've just been really busy this week and only had enough time/energy to check in once. I do find it odd that LC said he'd leave his vote on me because he "didn't feel the need" with Ninja ahead of me in the votes. But I'm more likely to give him a pass on it than sabie.
Yeah, that's all I've got so far.

Who were all the people that voted for Ninja, and then moved their votes away later on?
I think of all the Ninja voters, the only one I'm probably not going to examine closely is Ambray. Since she actually put forth a case of her own for voting Ninja. Everyone else felt like an easy bandwagon to me.

Well, I'm just not sure what to make of your hopping around and then settling on a single vote candidate. I'm leaning genuine, so I'm not really looking at you today, but it also could have been an easy way to avoid the suspicion that comes with jumping on a bandwagon.Snow Dog wrote:Do tell. What about Made and Boogs that voted for me basically for no reason whatsoever? And all of the llama voters?birdwithteeth11 wrote:Alright. So I am now finally caught up. And here's what I have so far.

Yeah, that's all I've got so far.
You think you should look ONLY at the Ninja voters nonetheless?
See, here's the logical fallacy we always run into as players. Consider this:
Llama is civ. (I'm not saying he is, I have no idea, this is just a scenario). Let's switch the number of votes that struck Llama and Blooper yesterday. Llama gets flipped. Then who would everyone be looking at? Llama's voters. Even though there were plenty of players who voted each, and each were civ, the players who get exclusively eyeballed by the masses are the voters of the lynchee, even though it's possible baddies voted for either player.
That's the problem I always have with looking solely at the "______ voters" for each lynch. Yes, they should be considered, but I think others should get the and be forced to disclose their intentions as well. Because we honestly have no idea what the baddies did last lynch: whether they bandwagoned onto Blooper, bandwagoned onto Llama, or threw off onto me or you or someone else.

Yes, I will send out a PM when it is fixed. Sorry. I've been working with Bluehost, but they've recently gotten nonresponsive to me. Re: Disney Cars Mafia [Day 2]
Why can't a civvie vote for someone after someone else has voted for them?
Why can't a baddie lead a lynch with a case?
Ambray very well could be bad. I argue the first because I am a civvie and I voted for Blooper because I thought Ambray and FZ.'s observations rang with some content when I revisited Blooper's post.

Sorry for not voting in the night poll, I did intend to - but I went to a work do last night and got unintentionally very drunk...infront of all my bosses. Please please let me still have a job come Monday!!!
I'm quite interested by all the 'joke votes' on D1 that ended up not being a joke at all because they were never changed. I think overall that led to spread out votes and an easy to manipulate poll. I'm going to have to go look at it again to remember what the end result was.

Re: Disney Cars Mafia [Day 2]
Thanks for the pass, I don't know why you said you find it odd. Maybe you need me to explain "didn't feel the need" a little better. I threw a vote on you to help prompt you to check in, not because I wanted to see you lynched. If I had checked back in and seen that you were going to be lynched, I would have moved my vote like I said I would, because you gave me a reason to. Since you seemed to be out of lynch-danger, I didn't think there was a point, especially since my catch-up on the thread was a big skim in which I saw some actual suspicions forming. I didn't have time to weigh in and analyze this new development, so I stayed with what I had.birdwithteeth11 wrote:I do find it odd that LC said he'd leave his vote on me because he "didn't feel the need" with Ninja ahead of me in the votes. Yeah, that's all I've got so far.
Maybe I don't find it odd because I lived it, but there's nothing really odd there. Busy times, busy day today, I'll be more able to participate after the next couple of days are over.

Re: Disney Cars Mafia [Day 2]
Hmmmmm.....I didn't realize that Made and Boogs had supposedly voted for you for no reason then. By that logic, I guess I would have to look at them as well.
Idk. I'm used to there being at least some votes on Day 1 that are "joke votes" or don't mean much because we don't have a lot to go on at that point. But to me, it seemed like there were a lot more of them than normal. And I think a potential baddie could hide behind there being so many.
So we have Made, Boogs, and possibly everyone (not as sure about Ambray) who voted for Ninja. And maybe even Snow Dog since he did at first, and then took his vote off.
So basically, we have 7 people who fall under the category of either joke or bandwagon votes: Made, Boogs, MP, DFaraday, llama, Snow Dog, and possibly, but much less likely, Ambray.
It seems like possible baddie manipulation may play a part into it as well, since the votes were spread out enough. So that might be another thing to look into as well.
Linki: Alright, makes sense LC. I think I'll still be looking at sabie, however.

BWT, to be fair, Boogs voted for me because at that moment in time, I had voted for him, and he's apparently busy. Made just voted for me right off the bat and never moved it. It doesn't help that the game started around a busy time for a lot of people (not faulting anyone for that though).
Why are you not looking at Llama voters?
Anyway, I know you've recently caught up, so I'm just curious to see what you'll find.
I need to work on a bunch of stuff today that I was ignoring yesterday and the day prior, so I'll be back... sometime.

Not sure how my vote can be classed as a bandwagon when I was the first one to bring him up and vote for him.
Who is blooper that people keep talking about?
MP - in regards to llama, I don't really remember why there were votes on him from D1, so I will have to go back an re read what happened.

Blooper is Nijuusalfnakjfnwalkfw, and I don't know where the Blooper name came from.
I do think we should look at the Llama voters as well, since (especially on Day 1) I don't think much can be gleaned by looking at one person's votes to find a pattern.

I didn't hop around. I voted for ninja as best case. I believed her defence so moved it. One change. Hardly hopping.
What about Made and Boogs that voted for me basically for no reason whatsoever? And all of the llama voters?birdwithteeth11 wrote:Alright. So I am now finally caught up. And here's what I have so far.

I'll get around to it when I get the chance. I'm still trying to absorb everything since the game started. Re: Disney Cars Mafia [Day 2]
Blooper is the name of the squid monster in Mario games (aka: Nij's user icon).
I continue to feel the way I felt about Snowie's vote, even after he apparently changed it. That's the impasse I'm at for now.
Llama's flippance seems like a common thing to me. I don't see his chaotic/jokey voting as unusual, nor is it indicative of good or bad alignment. He's worth looking into, for sure. But I feel like he often makes for an easy bandwagon target because of his eccentricities.birdwithteeth11 wrote:

Re: Disney Cars Mafia [Day 2]
Literature reviews are seriously the most grotesque endeavor imaginable. (may be an exaggeration... but they suck)
Snow Dog, I don't know where you actually voted, but you said you were voting me (which was obviously a joke), so I saw your behavior as hopping more than once.
Nonetheless, even if you consider it only hopping from Blooper to not, could you not understand why it seems you made a meaningless vote that appears as if you didn't want to take responsibility for a bandwagon vote?
I don't even necessarily believe that to be true, but that's why I listed your name, because I'm unsure as to your intentions.
BWT, here's what I said before:

My problem is you're focusing to groups of votes by players instead of just looking at all of them. We don't know what the baddies would have done. Players bandwagoned onto Blooper and Llama, as well as threw off jokey and meaningless votes.MovingPictures07 wrote:Why can't a civvie vote for someone after someone else has voted for them?
Why can't a baddie lead a lynch with a case?
Ambray very well could be bad. I argue the first because I am a civvie and I voted for Blooper because I thought Ambray and FZ.'s observations rang with some content when I revisited Blooper's post.

EBWOP: BWT, what I'm saying is, instead of just looking at players who bandwagoned Blooper OR who made jokey posts, why not examine them all?And then decide who you believe is least sincere or most likely to have nefarious intentions?
I'd like to hear what others have to say re: Llama, and others, and I really need to get this lit review done, so this time I'm gone for real.

posted this before Ninja's role was announced, but after the vote ended. Didn't mean to leave my vote on MP. Personally, I would like to look critically at FZ, but other than that no pings atm.Made wrote:I would of voted Ninja, thought i am critical of FZ. In recent memory the earliest most compelling argument seems to be made by a baddie, (Ketterman in Misfits namely) but it's a strong point, and i'd be stupid to ignore it.
also, Bandwagon/=/ Mafia. With that said, there's multiple ways to look at yesterday, but the way that makes the most sense to me is mafia faux baddie hunting. From my little experience as baddie, it seems- early on anyways- Mafia just sits back and doesn't manipulate crazy hard until they have to.
That said, there is always the chance that their hand was force and d1 we almost did find a baddie, based on votes, this would make Llama a likely baddie.
But Mafia hopping on a bloops bandwagon this early on just seems foolish unless they had an alternative reason.
