Re: Ted Lasso Mafia - Day 3
I don't have a lot of time for the game this phase and I won't dig into analysis until tomorrow.
I think I should listen more to JJJ and other people I trust in the future. I sometimes have a problem with being too prideful and trusting my process over anyone else's, but I think Michelle was a case where I really should have listened more to other people's input.
I wouldn't vote LoRab today. I have some tinfoil that Michelle's push on LoRab was weak because they were teammates but I feel like there would be a wolf-driven counter if the wagons were w/w and near EoD there was nobody who resisted both LoRab and Michelle afaik. I also feel like Michelle may not have pushed LoRab at all if they were w/w.
I think at least one mafia ended up on LoRab but I doubt they all did.

Aw you called me missy

I'm gonna be honest; I got totally derailed Day One for the somewhat (from my POV) overreaction to my thoughts on Scotty. Who popped up doing a Tasmanian Devil whirling dervish imitation around me every time I mentioned his name. In the post that I said I didn't want to talk about it, he popped up and called my post 'garbage' (I saw what Jay said about how it prolly was just the insanifier, but come on. Lots of words in that post, and all his posts, were clear and game related). I have never seen so much over reaction to a day one observation that wasn't even a suspicion.
I agree that we are unpaired, lol.
I am having problems getting out of the OMGUS thing, so I'm happy to look into jays POE, and the LoRab voters. I think voting for her at all was kinda icky, and wagoning her was double icky., especially when most of Michelles posts her last day were pretty sketch.

Re: Ted Lasso Mafia - Day 3
I was never gone, I was just still playing Severance apparently
Town:
Robyn/caps
Everyone else I’ll dive into today:
First impressions?
Rondo is top of my list- the ‘will he or won’t he’ playstyle has revolved around EoD- it feels like he’s been most active then, to bounce around between very odd candidates, and I’m not even sure why he ends where he does. Did he ultimately end on Michelle? Yep. But rewarding him cred for that is like giving the Medal of Honor to a cat for finally catching a laser pointer. Scum
Abbi is a tinfoil as well based on weird declarative statements at end of day and how she settled on Michelle like we should understand what the Ouiji board told her to do. Is this how a wolf Abbi operates? I dunno, never seen it. But it’s weird. Light scum.
Thunal had some bizarre stuff going on around the mich flip in hindsight. Ngl when I got on and thunal specifically told me to vote Lorab over Michelle was an influence for sure. Add on that she has had a tinfoil I’ve been acting silly on purpose just reeks of agenda with a Mich flip. Scumlean
Bereft is the most likely deepwolf candidate and I still suspect him for association with the big talkers without content I remember. Light scum
Wilgy looks good based on how adamant he was to voting a cogent player on D1 and looks great with a Mich wolf flip. He could be aggressively bussing, which I remember someone (Abbi?) recently said he did in a game as wolf, but I just kinda don’t see it, especially in the context of how everyone else voted. Townread
Lorab feels town based on wagon comp.
SVS is still just in the background and I don’t even remember what she posted yesterday. She’s still firmly in my POE and I have faith I’ll figure her out from her ISO today. Light scum
So current POE to be trimmed: rondo/abbi/thunal/bereft/SVS
I think JJJ’s reads are pretty solid, but not infallible. Using those as a blueprint is probably a good idea, but ima work today to come to my own conclusions independently.

If I am wrong about any of those, my entire process tumbles. I'd be grateful to hear of any disagreement from anyone. If those town reads are correct, then it leaves the POE of seven names I mentioned earlier. That's one more than a game-winning POE pool would allow for (six players). On that basis, I'd also love to hear everyone's top town read in this pile:
ts account, Scotty, S~V~S, LoRab, Michelle, Thunal, Abigail

I’m not around much until a bit later tomorrow but I just wanna say- good job on Michelle. I have a lot to say in regards to the end of D1 now that we know Michelle’s alignment. D2 is helpful too, in that I think we had some absolute bus drivers
But for now:
Rondo and Thunal didn’t think I had a stroke, and that in and of itself is suspect

Not sure what you are suggesting? Take her out so we can verifiably prove what she is saying?
Because if I’m reading Michelle’s role right, she would be checked as town if Abbi were cop.

I don’t think we can count on town vig at this point. The optimal shot was probably Michelle or ts/lorab N1, and if it doesn’t make sense they wouldn’t have shot at this point. Numbers are dwindling and there’s no guarantee they’ll be survive if they keep holstering.
IMO the vig either:
-is ts account/lorab
-already had their one shot blocked in some way
Leaning latter

Of course I could be dead wrong and all the wolves are on Lorab. That would make me feel even worse tho

Re: Ted Lasso Mafia - Day 3
SVS, at this point I can’t even remember all my responses to you D1, and dont remember it being all that strange. You were the one that continued to get paranoid that I wasn’t getting paranoid, and here you are still bringing it up again. Like, let’s move on.S~V~S wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 6:35 amAw you called me missy![]()
But anyway.
Re: garbage post- what??? If there was any singular words you read into yesterday i didn’t mean it and I’m sorry if you took it as such.

So does this mean you think Lorab is town off that vote?

Town:
What am I turned around on to you?

My homie who restarted the mafia section in our forum sent me to MU to play the Mentor mentee game in january 2019. My mentor is a legendary player and he mentored me after playing 12 years of mafia.
I was always paranoid playing with Momstrman, he is now retired, maybe turbo-ing from time to time, but at one moment I learned to read him by a small trick.
Because he is retired and also because he is not a Syndicate regular I can tell you about this trick, otherwise I hate to show my shortcuts for reading someone.
My mentor was always mentoring town when he was town giving advice for the play in general. As mafia he wasn't doing it. And I started to notice that at other very strong players as well.
You were doing it in our finale game and your start here made me write that post because I considered your advice useful for town.
I don't even believe it's the easiest town read you ever had. It's just a take I posted to see what feedback I receive from it. You speculated the rest. Made from it more than it was, imaginated the omgua when I said it's not set in stone.

Re: Ted Lasso Mafia - Day 2
This is the longest readpost Michelle has made to date on any player, and it does not feel like she is talking about a partner here. This rings as someone trying hard to justify a vote on someone to save herself.Michelle wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 4:55 pm Lorab doesn't have many posts, but the impression is she is a great person fighting for a heart breaking cause.
From a mafia Pov she didn't accept someone trusting her, saying she is more comfy with being scum read.
This is psychologically interesting because mafia would want to not lead the way by saying 'trust me' only to have a mischop, and it helps the player to positiom themselves in the null part of the reads which is a good spot for mafia to be in. This, for me, is suspicious.
She explained in a wall the playstyle of the old Syndicate community who made me approach this site and stay for so many years already, enjoying these games a lot.
But that wall has no alignament indicative value for me, just explains she has a different playstyle.
The biggest game related post is a reads wall with a couple of town reads and the explanation of why she doesn't believe in reads lists. Again this gives me the impressions of avoidance and it's wolfy.
Conclusion: I understand why she is in the Poe and I agree with the votes on the slot.
