I actually don't know sloonei's scum moves now that I think about it...but if how he acted in Bike was consistent to how he plays when he isn't scum, he's deff town.

I legitimately don't remember anything about that game other than choosing to kill sloonei over nanook after bussing both you and sig, and then scumslipping because of something marmot said. I basically played that whole game in a fugue state.

From a mechanical standpoint Hyena's role would make more sense as a town role and be almost entirely protown. It would be possible to use such a role in a way that benefits mafia but in general it would benefit town a lot more.

a role mechanically benefitting town is a good motivation to make it mafia-aligned so that people townread it, just like you are wanting to do . there's your mafia benefit to the role
(im not saying hyena is necessarily scum for that role but i think townreading the mechanics of the role is a mistake even if he's town)

that is the idea, a few people have brought up the concept of putting POE'd people in the bargain pool to see if their night actions help you read them better/make mafia choose between killing consensus town and a PR/to ensure that if I'm hiding any negative side effects from my bargains they only hit scummy people

That's part of why I'm, like, skeptical of Alison (that's not why I voted for her though). Like, the way she's playing doesn't seem very fun. I would kinda expect someone to make the most fun out of a role they can get, and I know Alison to be very creative from my brief interactions with her. I think I'm a fairly creative player, yeah. Like, I don't think many other people would have outed as GD or even considered the possibility that it was the right line of play. I derive fun from playing optimally though, not from screwing around. This is why I avoid stuff like crazy role madness, bastard games or mashes, and why I enjoy playing mountainous the most.
Also, I was the one who cooked up this plan for the last player to get the role.
