I'm not convinced either but the mafia characters seem very different from the civ characters. I know the mafia can lie about their claim unless they got a safe claim but lies can undo you. I'm not even evaluating Speed's claim, because I feel like he's been clear town since D1. Juliets the townie is legit surprised at my continued existence, especially with Inception in mind.
Juliets the wolf who is near universally suspected is trying to plant seeds of doubt on Jack who happens to be a universal townread, near mechanically confirmed and unlynchable on days of the week that end with a y. I can’t see scum Juliets thinking she pulls that off very often. If she’s bad, she needs three mislynches. Maybe she doesn’t shoot me if she thinks I’m pocketed and tries to mislynch me in lylo. I just don’t feel like she thinks antagonizing one of her strongest supporters to make him look a little worse is a good idea when there are easier mislynches and when leaving me alive again twice will do a lot more to make me look bad without letting any blame fall on her.
