Well, looks like my initial pick died anyways.

This after asking the thread to hold his hand through a DDL case makes me think he just wanted a reason to vote for DDL, the popular option. "Laying low more"? Yeah bro he said he'd be gone all day. Tonally you feel better about him than Luna? That means nothing to me. Might as well be French.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 10:12 pm Ok, I went back myself and did quick ISOing. Between DDL and Luna DDL certainly seems to be laying low more and tonally I don’t feel good about him like I do Luna, so, DDL.
I ended up voting for speedchuck. I avoided the question on purpose. I wanted to see who would ask me specifically thinking whoever did, may be keeping a spreadsheet. Are you keeping a spreadsheet?sprityo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 8:08 am @Elohcin would you kindly tell me who you voted for the flamethrower yesterday and today since you avoided that talk all together?
As an aside it looks like a decent amount of people gave Speedchuck their vote yesterday but I can’t recall if people said the same about me. I think I’m the end DH gave me vote #4 or something like that? We should probably make a chart for reference

Maybe its because I don't, but I'm not gelling with this line of thought. IDK. I'll have to see more from DDL to make a call on it but Luna's interactions with Eloh and etc makes me feel not so great about her.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 10:35 am That makes sense to me tho DH. I too feel better about Luna than DDL tonally

then you disagree with DH's initial post about how killing nonactives benefits us?Turnip Head wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 12:21 pmIdk but if they are, we benefit from their non activitysprityo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 12:19 pmmotivationTurnip Head wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 11:05 am In hindsight, nonvoters are less disruptive to this game than any other one, I wonder why sprityo held onto that directive.

I didn't like history when I first started learning it but my teachers made me change my mind fast. I think it was my strongest subject at school (except maybe English) and I'm an exact sciences guy.
lol DDL I can see Eloh teaching her 6 year old (or is he 5) about backstabbingDragon D. I don't know how you are picking your curriculum but here is a tip that may or may not be applicable: focus on the politics involved in the events rather than on boring stuff like dates and names. Like, why the politicians did X and Y, who were the powers influencing each event, who wanted what in each period of the story. This makes the whole thing much more entertaining, because history is all about different powers colliding and backstabbing each other.
You're awesome
We use an awesome curriculum called Story of the World. I, personally love it. I hated History in school because of the very reasons you say to avoid. The curriculum we use is a classical approach to History which emphasizes the incidents rather than names and date. The only thing I could do to make it better is hire people to act it out rather than me read it to them. They did have fun with the Boston Tea Party, but that's only because they were familiar with the story from a Team Titans Go episode.Dragon D. Wow TH was right that is boring and sensible.speedchuck wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:39 pm It was probably a tie between me and Sprit.
It's my turn!
I promise not to flamethrower Mac, like my former opponent did. I wouls have torched DDL, like everyone wanted to. Especially with it being day 1, to give people like Mac more than 48 hours to notice the game.
what is your definition of "responsibly"?DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:34 pm As Sprityo's chosen heir I promise to wield the flamethrower responsibly if I get it.
If a consensus is reached I'll honor that. if a consensus isn't reached I'll consider all the evidence and make a best-case judgement call.Lunalee wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:46 pmwhat is your definition of "responsibly"?DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:34 pm As Sprityo's chosen heir I promise to wield the flamethrower responsibly if I get it.
I'm telling you dude, it's not the best way to use it. If I get the flamethrower I'ma dance with it. Keep the people on edge, act like anything's possible, get resultsDharmaHelper wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:44 pmWow TH was right that is boring and sensible.speedchuck wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:39 pm It was probably a tie between me and Sprit.

Fooo I don't even town read you now.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 4:05 pm We should treat the flamethrower as an extra resource to get reads on the players, not as an extension of the lynch poll

This post feels like avoidance. You could have explained your post to bunny but them you pointed out to a link instead.

Anyway if this isn't useful now, it might be useful later in high school.

If you flip-flip more I might start thinik you are nutella in disguise.insertnamehere wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 8:07 pmEh. The “Speed could be bad, wait, Speed could be good.” thing is annoying enough on a D1 where not much has happened and a DDL bandwagon seems to be leaving the station. Colin has been pushing weaksauce stuff against two people I’m kinda townreading rn: Speed and DH. I’ll put my vote on him for now, and perhaps move it if he elaborates on those feelings in a satisfactory way.

In your own words, what’s the difference between your civilian and scum game?
My town play and scum play are very different. DDL and novase can tell you. It should be very easy to spot.
