Serious question: Can you not agree with someone's town read on someone, but still think the person giving the read could be scum? Imo that happens like all the time?
I thought the back to back juxtaposition of those two posts was interesting and wanted to hear what Gavial had to say about it.
Sure, it's possible that's whats happening, but generally if I'm sus on someone and they're giving off reads I tend to question those a bit instead of just agreeing with them, especially if with my next post I say there might be a wolf in a group that contains the person I just agreed with.
I'd want to explore more why/how that person got to where they did
I mean, his sus on me/spf was very "there might be a wolf here", certainly didn't read like a strong suspicion to me and not founded on anything. I get the surface level of what you're saying, but I just don't see it in this instance.
And maybe I'm just getting all up in your hair, but your process haven't made sense to me at all so far. Is this normal? It might be.

DkKoba really reminds me so much of this player from back in the day. Which if this play is similar it really doesn’t mean much. Could be town, but could just as easily be mafia. I’m still hoping someone will come in and say what they usually play like (Who isn’t DkK them self) because as of now it’s still really not sitting great with me. it just seems a bit early for this kind of aggressive play. They created much more suspicion than they had on themselves with this response.
I really felt the energy was just town. Particularly the "If scum think they're going to get me, they got another thing coming!" kind of sentiment.
That said, I also am not familiar with Dkk. So I'll eagerly await some insight into if he's aggressive like this and likes to fake bravado as scum. But for now, a strong guess at town.

SPF is probably town. I like her town reads, I like all her thoughts, I like that she doesn't try to be flashy or project town too much. Good content without shoving it in our faceses.
Had a feeling Tony was town for his first post. Just seemed like something he said because he felt it necessary (from a town perspective), not because he felt he needed to say something (in which case maybe he would've felt the need to say more too). Maybe this is thin, but that's what I got.
I'm pretty ok with Invictus so far. But it's not like I feel I should trust him immediately, which I already have expressed.
---
Don't know about anybody else. Alison, I don't really see where she is coming from with her Gavial read. I also felt she could've waited in any case. I don't have a read on Alison, don't quite remember how I've felt in other games with her.
the first quote has a level of spiciness that is utterly let down by the second quote. why assertively call alison scum and then back off from that read before alison (or anyone, for that matter) had the opportunity to react?

it feels like gavial saw hollowkat quote a dynamic on pg 1 and say there was a wolf between them, and then decided to mimic that style of read by doing the same thing on pg 3. it's just a little awkward from someone that presumably has a very unique and independent style of scumhunting

I don't plan lines. I do and want different things at the same time. I'll always get dragged into honest and wordy more than not. And honest thoughts is I don't know how to read Alison, and I'm probably generally prone to just be uncomfortable with her alignment wise. So I have sparks and thoughts and maybes and wants to randomly push, and then I have longer considerations, at the same time, and that is what you're seeing. I'm pretty sure this is not unique though. And in this case I never had a real thought of being convinced of Alison as scum. Just a possibility/worry.

I’m done with reading, and I don’t find anything out of the ordinary with Alison so far this game. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen her as mafia though, but so far nothing suspicious to me
@fingersplints - what other reads do you have?

I like Invictus post about DkK’s series of posts and vote for LC. I also found it a bit off.
I’m wary of Marmot, but that is absolutely normal. Tbh it’s be more suspicious to me if I wasn’t wary of him.
TSP’s posts seem ok so far. As do yours.
Most other people I don’t have an opinion on yet.
im sure that fingersplints has a solid wolf game, but i will say that their style of posting is fairly
different from the wolf game i just saw from her in fargo mafia. she is much more blunt and to the point and i dont feel like she's dancing around taking stances like she did in that game. generally decent feelings about that slot so far

I'm still town, what have I missed?
You could read the game and figure out, that would be super! Since you are town, we're eagerly awaiting your input!
I was kinda hoping for cliff's notes, but I guess I could do my own homework
this post rubs me the wrong way but im not sure why

Current quick takes.
Alison is town for pushing for activity.
Dizzy is town for reasonable reads and OMGUSing. Good luck surviving til Day 2 Dizzy.
I am town because my rolecard says so.
oof, i don't like this post. do you think that alison would not push to make the game more active as a wolf? would dizzy not have "reasonable reads" as a wolf? this feels like a fairly surface level analysis

btw long con is town here always - ill explain later, its a weird one but trust me, its legit science.
You really need to explain this to me, cause he's one of the players I have had no town indicators from now. So awaiting elaboration on this.
first thing you have to know is that i managed to somehow get him limmed with my scum team in bread mafia without even lifting my finger to vote them
What is limmed?
Also blame spf
and the host for a townsided setup
