I noticed it too but I don't really get what it means, neither wolbre nor quin had killing roles, if a different role made them kill each other then.... idk? that seems crazy too

he said his killer would get candy or something, like how a regular pinata works. the pinata itself doesn't get anything positive out of the average pinata experience except I guess getting recycled afterwards. the implication that his death would help him was there, but it was subtext and not in his actual words

But he didn't claim to be vanilla, did he? Illyria claimed to be Vanilla Civ when there were none in the game. I don't recall reading that, Zeph was talking about other roles... wasn't he? And I think he didn't really say they were vanilla, just cooler and splashier town roles, and more mundane ones. Sorry if I have that wrong.
