I wasn't concerned at EoD, but today it is clear I am a potential miselim and I don't feel like I'm adding much to the solve, so my best course of action is to just not get miselimed, and hopefully clear myself to make it easier for others to solve (I mean I'll help out with the solve as I can, but I haven't read large swaths of the game, so I'm not expecting people to sheep me on my takes). If that takes pointing out how obviously townie I was last night, I will. There are things that wolves just don't do. Sure, maybe 1 in a million will, but I was towny af and I know it. If you step back and think about it, you'll see it too.

Why what was your motivation other than to have this excuse?
As I said, I was trying to push wagons around and add tension to the thread to see what happens. By setting up ties near EoD, people are forced to react, and in those high-tension situations, their actions are almost always AI. I was trying to see who was trying to protect whom and also possibly catch a scumteam trying to quick hammer to end the day with a quick unvote.

I self-voted myself once, possibly twice, and it was always to either bring things to a tie, or to dangle myself as bait close to the scum quickhammer threshold.
okay so what were your take away?

It was hard to tell, there weren't any clear defenses going on unfortunately, however I've been pretty clear that I think Rondo was likely a scum quickhammer, and that their wagon, and in particular the flood of votes that came in super quick, is rich with information.

I'm not acting dense. You are pretending like wolves can just force themselves to be non-self conscious like a flip of the switch. Sure, wolves try to do things that appear townie, but that doesn't change the fact that there are things that are outside of their wolf range. That is exactly where there is a such thing as a wolf range, because people sometimes do things as town that they never would/could do as a wolf.

It really isn't that hard of a thing to grasp. Sure, there is an 1/1,000,000 exception, but it doesn't change the fact that I should be clear town at this point.

I don't have a further reason for you to think I'm town, and I'm not going to argue about it any more. My play has been crap this game, and I honestly don't see it improving much. I was going to respond to individual posts as is my wont when reading the unread pages (and skipping the anime shit), but I don't feel the need. I can put it all in one tidy post (or not, as it turns out).

I noted that in more than two views, I am still a viable candidate for being mafia. I'd like to speak a few words in my defense before moving on to funner stuff. I normally wouldn't need to do this, but since so few of you have little if any experience with me, I'll oblige.

Some (notably, perhaps only, Ender) have gone through the trouble of looking at Alison's posts and making determinations about others, and that's fine, but what I'll do here is pull up my own posts for you to judge. I'll spoiler those in case you have already made up your mind on me (and are correct).

Before I do that, I want to preface this with what I see in our mafia team at present.

The first mafia member was completely absent Day 1 up until the very end, posting some votes but staying silent the entire time. This member promptly self-destructed.

The (presumably) second mafia member has had difficulty engaging the thread at all and then made a dubious Hail Mary of a Day 2 claim. Someone I consider usually enthusiastic about devious plots and tricking people could barely muster a thread presence. I sense a great deal of dissatisfaction, and from that, boredom.

This tells me we're dealing with a dysfunctional mafia team that is struggling more than the current polls would suggest.

I'll circle back to this later, but as it relates to me, if Alison and I were on the same mafia team, then at least half of that team would not be dysfunctional, and in the very least, I don't think Alison would exude those qualities I mentioned.

If you agree with me about the mafia team being dysfunctional (or in the very least, disorganized) and still have qualms about me, then I invite you to read the hidden bits below. If you've already made up your mind that I am not mafia (or if you are mafia), feel free to pass it by.

I think it's Epi and one of splints/Rondo. The case on me is crap and the timing was designed to draw heat away from the soft slots. Less likely splints than Rondo for obvious reasons. Syn could be in on it or just a townie with bad reads.

In this world it is probably not Kami because if the scum team wanted to drum up an Alison exe and she was on it they'd just send her to do it. I don't know who the last person is. I'd prefer to flip Epi first, and ideally want Epi/Rondo wagons.
