Yes, I think you’ll notice a significant difference in approach to entering the thread.

Kate is sneaky and quite capable of mixing it up but I wouldn’t say that would im describing is a mistake to begin with. It’s just personality. In carto you’re seeing a Kate that is endeavouring to appear townie. In this game she didn’t gaf.

I do like this sort of read. It's really easy to read into the IDGAF person as mafia as it is the most straightforward thing to do

Is someone saying that? It wasn’t even contradicting anyone. No one was on Kate at that point as far as I know or knew anyway, I just went and isoed her to get a read because I literally always start with getting my bearings about Kate.

Cape could be mafia. I've found them very towny when I've played with them as town, and they don't give the same feeling here. So yeah.

i will add that the read on Dennis here is pretty bad and one i would expect mafia to make

There is a lot of discussion of IAWY and Scotty that, being honest, I didn't totally understand. I am going to try to reread it in context.

He made a townread of me, with the caveat that the post I made to try to get Kate to look at me looked Wolfy to him (fair enough, it had a specific purpose, and was aimed at a specific person). He also liked my post on 112, and later said he thought 112 was town.

As I read along, I found myself agreeing with several of his reads. Had no idea why he hit anyones radar (unless it was for reasons related to meta w/people I am not familiar with), until he started backpedaling himself a bit answering Rondos questions. Also, he spent alot of time early commenting on a discussion between IAWY and Scotty, but then he townread both of them towards the end of his ISO? Although he was fairly waffly on each. He and Scotty voted for each other at one point, though I guess that didn't last.

As Cape would say, Scotty is trending down for me.

This is a developing situation. But I came out of this ISO leaning bad on Cape, Scotty, and maybe Petit. Not enough to vote on anyone over it yet, but most def in the red part of the rainbow. Plus IAYW is voting Ender, who is one of Capes biggest accusers. Not sure if this is a bunch of Mafia friends being insular, or some woofs whose efforts at distancing got too intertwined or what. This whole situation reads like a big giant clusterfuck, lol.

I have changed my mind recently looking back at that 112 post. It's pretty NAI, but defending HK then leaving does somewhat seem not wolfy to me so there is that.

I waffle all the time though I guess it isn't my place to say.

Oh yeah petit did say that post about 112 was about HK which was strange.

I also get performative a lot (but I may have been deliberate on that).

Besides that point, I don't really know why I look bad from what you have said besides the whole my push on Petit being performative. I would say my push on baudib1 from "insert only mafia game that I linked earlier that is not loading for me" does beat the performativity of the read on Petit. It is a method I will use to RT people.

I had to go back and read that post to understand why you/Petit were talking about HK; the part I liked had nothing to do with the people 112 was quoting. It had to do with the thought 112 expressed, that getting rashy with someone in thread, snapping out, it less likely to come from a wolf place then a town place. So I am tending to read that one post, HK telling Guillotine to fuck off, as townie. But mainly i was talking about 112s take on it, rather than the post itself.

And I tend to look for thread interaction as a wolf tell, I know there must be masons here, but they don't generally have any need to distance. That whole business with Scotty, it just felt like distancing to me. It didn't feel like you *really* suspected each other. Like if you were laying it out so if one of you get elim on day 4, the other could clear themselves from being a partner based on this interaction. It's a lean, and I'm not voting on it or telling anyone else to either. It felt a bit like manufactured suspicions.

But I don't know you or your meta, or anyone involved in any of this, really, except Scotty. And I know he doesn't start Supatowning until after an elim. It all just felt "faux" to me.

I just shifted my vote back to [VOTE: guillotine] aubergine so that's one. That he pushed the 'golden's town read of kate doesn't make sense' and actively said 'I'll solve this game when it's bigger' means he falls into both the categories of 'easy wolfy things' that I have engaged in.

Not sure why Urist gets so many town reads.

112, TSP and MR all fall into a 'haven't seen town hunting' but I don't know any of them well and it feels like others suggest this might be NAI?

That'd be my top 5 atm.
