Colin did the same to me, but I'm not scum. So I don't know if I buy it. I think he was trying to pin suspicion on easy-lynch townies
He voted for you, he didn't save you from being lynched, so there's a difference between your situation and nova's.
Wait did Colin vote for Nova at some point? Or are you saying he voted for Luna instead of voting for the actual wagons, one of whom was nova?
The latter.
Doesn't saving typically involve actions that help your teammate not get lynched? If he was saving nova, why not vote one of the other popular trains?

(Keeping in mind I wasn't in the game until D2 so I might be missing some understanding of how the lynch went down)
This is a fair point on one hand in some games and with some personalities. On the other hand, Epi had 5 votes, sig had 4 and nova had 4. There was only 10 minutes left. It could be safely assumed the vote was all wrung up without his hands getting dirty at all.

But yes, on that one hand, knowing sig and epi were both good may make a good case for nova's innocence too. :ponder:
Um what being 1 vote behind with 10 min left isn't a safe position whatsoever - as an example see that very lynch where Sig was lynched over Epi.

This reasoning is Oscar Mayer.

It’s a little uninspiring that, for all the conversation we’ve had today, the two leading wagons at this point are on the two players who haven’t said anything in their own defense. Part of me wants to shake this up for the sake of shaking it up, but I don’t buy the Luna case and am starting to back off the nova arguments as well.

One plus that’s come out of this all is that I have a town read on colonialbob.

I looked at Fiddler on the Roof.

How does this not make sense to you bob? If you don’t get it your thevone taking the crazy pills. It’s literally how I caught Colin.

It’s the value of a tie. Baddies don’t want to break them, especially if their own baddie teammates are amongst it. I caught Colin because he wanted vote amongst those three. The most likely reason is that he had a teammate among them. Baddies are hesitant to make a late vote to save their teammate. Town aren’t because they don’t know who is bad.

I’m making a leap of faith because we did a similar thing with Colin when he wasn’t around to defend himself.

Also, I’m testing Turnip Head. He’s been flitting back and forth to choutas for a few phases now and want to see if the cocoon that he’s been hiding in is rotten

If not choutas, then dunya just on my tinfoil relation to Colin’s first player salad. Not a whole much else to go on tho

I bet my Greek beauty that there is at least one scum vote in the Greek's bandwagon. Especially since two people I acknowledge as excellent players participate in it(Dunya and Sloonei). Out of the four I'm dead certain somebody is jumping straight on it.
That's my two cents, fwiw you'd be making me a favour to lynch me like I get the green signal to stop participating at last.

I see what you are saying, Golden, but I don’t think colin’s discomfort with the Day 1 vote necessitates a baddie nova. It could just as easily suggest that colin didn’t want to be held accountable foe the lynch of a civilian. That plan backfired. More often than not I feel like arguments about teammate saves are unconvincing. A very recent example is when half the town in the GoC was convinced that Scotty or I had tried to orchestrate a cros-tribe save of LC. That stuff is tricky and doesn’t happen as often as it’s talked about, in my experience.

what does that tell you?

I hate it when people self-vote. it's like a guilt trip.

I have no idea.

It’s all shades of the same colour. Olive is still green. Nova was one vote behind, if Colin voted that way it could have shifted the lynch.

We still need to eliminate mafia sooooo I'm focusing on that for now.
Fffffffff
I'm not indie I swear!
And if I was indie, I sure as hell wouldn't side with mafia, at least with town I start as town and finish as one
how does indie start as town? indie have no alliance till they decide who they want to win with.

Choutas wrote: Thu May 03, 2018 3:52 pm I bet my Greek beauty that there is at least one scum vote in the Greek's bandwagon. Especially since two people I acknowledge as excellent players participate in it(Dunya and Sloonei). Out of the four I'm dead certain somebody is jumping straight on it.
That's my two cents, fwiw you'd be making me a favour to lynch me like I get the green signal to stop participating at last.

K I'm just gonna drop this because I feel like we're going down a hole with no upside. I don't think Colin's vote on D1 indicates nova is scum in any way. You disagree. Let's leave it at that for now.

Still not sold on Choutas being bad.

huh? you need a "good reason" to move your vote off me? what was your "good reason" to place a vote ON me? wasn't it your placeholder vote? this stinks.

Oh, that thing about my interactions with and parked vote on Epi D1? Right. It’s my D1. If you scum read me from day 1, you’re doing it wrong. Sorry if I don’t view that as a legitimate reason to vote me.
Day 1 is not irrelevant, it's part of the game.

Like, the argument you're making here is that your behavior may be suspect, but it gets a pass because Day1.
yea, let's do a recap of how many times Scotty has used D1 events and posts to back up suspicions.

D1 is one of the most important days, especially an active D1.

Nope. And I probably won't. Don't let that keep you from voting me if you feel like I'm bad. I mean I can be a pretty crafty baddie. But I'm not about to hide behind inactivity, fwiw. My lack of activity is just because of outside stuffs. If you find me bad, vote me. Don't let my shitty time management keep you from it.
Spacedaisy's tone here makes me think she's scum, and trying to dispel suspicion by daring anyone to call her bluff. I'm going to [VOTE: spacedaisy] aubergine for now.
i pretty much agree with this analysis of spacedaisy's post here. it didn't feel good to me. it didn't feel like a warm, reasonable reason to want to die. I don't trust it.
