because I'm far too carefree and unconcerned with how I appear to be a wolf. I think you can ask most of the people who've played with me before and they'll tell you that HK can appear carefree as a wolf but that generally speaking my wolf game I struggle to get into games, make weird posts early trying to appear as if I don't care/am joking, and that I'm caught incredibly early or not at all.

Also, it's not like those were all scumreads. One of them is a townread of both of them, which is why I found the pairing all the more curious. The reason I brought them up was because I had a slight tinfoil that the scum team planned to push a hk-scotty pairing from different angles, but realized it was a far-fetched idea so I didn't mention it originally.

do you think that's indicative of wolves struggling to find traction in the game or town flailing around looking for wolves?

I'm inclined to think it's the former tbh. Like I do think several people who are often early game fodder have done good work in showing themselves to be town, which cuts off "easy lines" for wolves to push on.

The only thing giving slight pause right now is the lack of anyone advocating to save him.
Also Marmot looks a bit bad for their push on Scotty since it is just blatantly sheeping Syn after Townreading Scotty. Plus they also questioned why people were sussing Scotty. So if there is a Mafia on that wagon right now I think it's fairly obvious it's Marmot. This is slightly less likely if Scotty is Town though. but Mafia!Scotty has a 100% chance of Mafia!Marmot.

Also, it's less than 24 hours into D1. Nobody has to advocate to save him. The wagon will likely dissipate by itself by the time it matters. Non-newbie wolves won't associate themselves so closely so early in the game.

Nobody on TS is going to hammer D1. That only happens on CFC, and on D2.

It depends on the read. If someone has a town tell, then they are guilty until proven town, if someone has a mafia tell, then they are town until proven mafia. This is just, common sense as to how town tells & mafia tells work - the absence of the tell means your baseline is the opposite.

If meta reads are overrated, then I suggest you prove that right by identifying what I'm meta reading you on and make me read you incorrectly most of the time. So far I'm 100% with this meta.
