Agree about sokoth tho
How about DDL? I reckon his behavior towards EoD would only have added to your early suspicion of him.Epignosis wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 7:30 pmI don't think Golden is bad.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 5:07 pmI think his lack of participation is what made me want to try switch the lynch from him, and read him as Town. He was just trying to have fun, and take it easy for once and it was held against him because he wasn't being his usual self.
About my picks, I'd say DDL and Sokothqulq.
Or maybe, just maybe Golden![]()
My opinion on DDL hasn't changed for better or worse. I still think he's bad.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 7:46 pmHow about DDL? What does Courage have to do with it? Are you implying some parallelColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:13 pm The key to the game right now is in Sokoth’s posts, and in analyzing that day/his lynch. I might not have time to do it but for those who were in Courage a play-by-play of the lynch will be clarifying.

I mean, the one parallel I noticed is his relentless suspicion of TH while I am confident TH is town.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:26 pmGolden being scumnutella wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:21 pmWhat does Courage have to do with it? SokothQultuq wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 8:28 pm So its time for me to weigh in I guess. I've been going over everyones that's on the Vote's posts. Here is my two cents:
Glorf - While I had initial suspicions of him initially, which was primarily founded on this focus of his meta. I do believe that he very well is a good player and not a baddie. He's been defensive of players, and his Captain and has only really lashed out when one of those was put in the hot seat. So I've swung this vote from red to green.
DDL - Though most people seem to think DDL is a baddie, I'm not entirely convinced. I've seen it swing either way so I am on the ropes with DDL but the way that DDL has reacted even despite his being ejected from his crew. This does not scream bad to me. So I'm again swinging my thoughts from Badish to good.
DrWilgy - Lurking in the shadows. Very low activity from what I've seen but most of what they have posted has not really carried much substance. I suppose the real life reason for inactivity should be considered. I'm on the ropes here. Earlier on they were pretty aggresive with some comments. One thing that stood out to me and still rings is "My Votes have gone to preventing a cowered from being Captain, I'll hold my 4th". This still resonates with me and has pushed my vote over to the bad side. I'm still curious why Wilgy would label Golden a Cowered as I Believe that is where that comment was directed. So... Yeah. And Silence for a long period from the 9th up until...?
DFaraday - Not very active. Mostly responsive to post but nothing that really stands out to me.
Kylemii - Wizard Stuff? Is this some kind of misdirect and avoidance of the Topics at hand? Has not really been helpful but has not hurt. Someone I'm watching to see where this goes as we move on. Leaning Bad.
Luna - Reading through your posts I didn't honestly see anything that stood out as bad up until you ejected DDL from your crew. I'm still not sure I understand why. I thought your handling of your crew pointed to good, but your comments to take in "Jaded" crew. Then when Challenged on it, you 180'ed and said it was a joke. Kind of Strange to me. Those two points combined have me thinking you hail from the dark side of things.
Lapluie... ? Not really here? LOL
Marmot - No real substance to posts until somewhat recently. The vote for Mac without reason kind of through me. I would be interested to know why you threw Mac Under the bus.
SpeedChuck - This suggestion to Lynch ships that have more crew while a good tactic for a win, I'm not sure if I can tell if it was a "Bad' or "Good" Suggestion. It could be both. Mostly seems to play devils advocate between posts.
This is all I've got so far from reading through things and following. Some of the most recent posts are not really analyized here. But yeah. Observations.
So I'm leaning on DrWilgy, and Luna to be honest. I would like other opinions on why I shouldn't vote for one of them or which one I should over the other?
I don't think you can. Just past the link to the exact post you want to discuss.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:51 pm Help!
How do you quote posts from a closed thread to another? Some Golrfindel and Golden posts are worth a look with this flip.
I'm really having trouble believing Glorfindel is Town. He seems to have slowed down considerably after taking heat for his early alignment claim. He looked more at ease prior to that, and excited. He no u'd Sig, and he read anxious as hell in their small exchange. He tried to nip in the bud my case against Sokoth, and called Sokoth's defense "reasoned, rational and effective". I called him on that, and tried to get an interaction going but nothing. Nothing from him since then. Just fluff.Epignosis wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:56 pm From this post:
Glorfindel - Good, because duh.
DDL- This is weasel shit right here. "Though most people" (what people?) "seem to think DDL is a baddie" (seem? Do they or do they not?), I'm not entirely convinced (why would you be?). I've seen it swing either way (seen what swing either way?)...I'll stop there before my wrists explode. DDL remains a high end suspect of mine.
DrWilgy- Would still lynch. The comment about Wilgy calling Golden a "Cowered" looks just as false to me as Wilgy's exchange with Golden.
DFaraday - DF got shit going against Sokoth. I'm not lynching him tomorrow.
Kylemii- I don't think he's on Sokoth's team.
Lunalee- Ejecting someone from your ship doesn't indicate evilness. I don't think Lunalee is bad, and this reasoning looks contrived as hell.
lapluie- ???
Marmot- This one stood out to me at first glance. He used the phrase "threw Mac under the bus," which is the sort of phrase used to describe mafia taking out one of their own. This didn't happen though, since MacDougall was good. I'm almost convinced Marmot is 100% a civilian here.
speedchuck- Unlikely to be on Sokoth's team, since he couldn't muster anything to say for or against him.
He failed to comment on Golden and TH, who are also on the poll.
Remember the post I did one of the last phases where I walked through the Long Con lynch and made note of all the central arguments and votes for him as they developed? It helped me identify every single scum and 3P that was left. Too late to convince people, but still.nutella wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:21 pmWhat does Courage have to do with it? Well, obviously I would have been better off voting there if I were scum but I didn’t do that, so there you go. I gave him benefit of the doubt having never played with him and nobody seemed inclined to help me figure him out.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Sun Aug 12, 2018 11:53 pm Colin looks bad with this phase. I remember him mentioning Sokoth's defense looking bad several times like a broken record but never committed or made an effort to.
The parallel to Courage is Golden constantly namedropping me without actually engaging me with any sort of substance. He did it there to stay ahead of my suspicion of him; idk what his goal is here but it's notable.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 8:32 amRemember the post I did one of the last phases where I walked through the Long Con lynch and made note of all the central arguments and votes for him as they developed?
