Got this from Daisy, we have a decision to make:

Which of the following available jobs would you like to accept from Badger? I want to be sure your mind isn't changed by any of the info you would get starting the night out.

Easy - $800
Moderate - $1200
Difficult - $1600

Please bear in mind your Crew's total stats will be impacted by the following whenever you work a job for Badger:
-1 Skill stat for Malcolm Reynolds being on your crew
+2 Skill stat for having a smuggler on your crew

I'm going to go with Moderate for 1200 unless somebody has a better idea

I'd say aim for difficult when we have an almost full crew and alot of players in the game, it'll be harder later in the game to do them I'd think?

Also I won't be here tomorrow headed back to school, but will try to check in before the phase is over.

Your Captain has chosen to take you to Persephone to attempt to complete the Moderate job from Badger for a payout of $1200

In order to pass this check you must achieve a 7 in the Attack skill.

Additionally, you achieved a bonus by having a Smuggler on your crew, which nets you +2 for this check.

If any of you who have any Attack Skill Stats wish to abstain from assisting your captain in completing this job, you may tell me so privately by PM by 8 PM tomorrow night. Once I know who is participating a die will be rolled and added to the total attack stats from your crew that are contributing. The total will determine if you pass or fail.

At the end of N1 I will inform you if you have passed this skill check. In the meantime you may want to discuss strategy amongst yourselves.

Those aren’t bad picks. I’d also suggest nova, DH or Luna, but I think scum may have just been letting a bunch of townies duke it out yesterday.

My intuition was to use it on someone I always have to buy a vowel on, like DrWilgy or Marmot, but those are all good options. I'm open to suggestions from everyone (your reasons why would be helpful).

I'm assuming it checks alignment and not just role?

My thinking is that if we get a red read on DDL or Enrique, it would be easy to get thread momentum going against them. Harder to do that against a Wilgy or a Marmot, unless we just act super obvious about the info. A green or red peek would both be useful on DH or Luna, imo

I agree. These are people with substantive contributions to the thread and all have some sort of sketchiness so we can assert the evidence. Probably take Luna out of that, but one of the others.

I do like the idea of checking someone who is hard to read, but those two are both inactive so it doesn’t give us much to work with.

There was some confusion for me with the time zones. Night 1 will end at 9 pm EDT, not 8 pm.

Also, if anyone got a screenshot or copied the poll before I stupidly deleted it, let me know. Hosting while driving cross country is not advisable and I was trying to avoid it, but things never seem to go as planned. I am very sorry guys.

A note for the Captain: Money can only be spent and split in denominations of $50 or $100. So you could give someone $150 or $200, but not $160

Okay so if we complete the mission, split six ways we're looking at a payout of $200. Basically just enough to cover your food and electric bill, I believe the government considers this a livable wage. #americandream

I think his lack of participation is what made me want to try switch the lynch from him, and read him as Town. He was just trying to have fun, and take it easy for once and it was held against him because he wasn't being his usual self.

About my picks, I'd say DDL and Sokothqulq.
