I was thinking more like "process of elimination." Get a good feeling of who town is, then narrow down the scum team, and lynch them.

I'm not sure what there is to dig in on. The people who normally throw out names for no reason early on in the game are doing so. I've given up asking Mac for reasons when he does this early game. Also, it's Day 0 - in my mind the game hasn't even started yet. I was online yesterday but I was mostly in discord and I was only online this morning for a very brief time before I went to work. Anyway, now that I'm home I'll look back and see if there's anything making me suspicious or convincing me this early that someone is town. Also, I am civ.

In all the most recent games I've played with Mac he has thrown out names from the beginning that he says are bad or sometimes good. Why does this particular instance look like he's "emulating supatown" instead of being supatown. I just don't see the difference in this game and the others.

Luna also wastes no time getting into the business of generating reads. This is her very first post and she already has something substantive to say (granted, she arrived later than most so it was easier for to have something to say). She also expressed intent to adopt a new strategy this game. I feel like this sentiment suggests sincerity in luna, as she's still a relatively new player, but has played enough games by now to have confidence in what does or does not work. Macdougall could have made this post in his sleep for all I care. It tells me nothing, and that he dropped it in the thread with nothing else is weak. Macdougall is a jerk turkey in class.

I don't give MP credit for his absence, I just don't discredit him either. He hasn't played in forever because he's been too busy. That he's only made one post on Day 0 does not alarm me. Like dunya said, you were in the thread for an extended period of relative activity, but you did not jump in at the time.

This post, and her response to the criticism against it, all seem like a player who is perhaps frustrated and trying to adjust to the changed environment. I believe her when she says she is "calibrating her playstyle to more suit this new world of mafia"; whether or not that means she's town, I do not know. I give her the benefit of doubt for now. Mongoose could contribute more in class.

This barely constitutes activity. speedchuck has said zero things about this game. His case is closer to juliets than MP: I am concerned that there is not more than this. speedchuck could contribute more in class.
