I'm just pointing out that you're simultaneously telling me to put my vote elsewhere and giving me zero reasons to do that. You haven't towncased yourself, convinced me to vote for a scummier player and you aren't even pressuring me back.

It feels like you're just saying "vote elsewhere" because you think it's what a townie would say, rather than having actual intent or motivation to convince me to do as you ask.

I'm not dead set on all of my scumreads being lockscum, but I need a starting point to hunt and I have that. The best way to read a player is to engage directly with them imo.

I have read very little of the game so far.
Will probably continue to skim just here and there.
The last two times I did this, my reads were fucking great.

Things I mildly care about so far is
Sabi saying she hates mafia and only signed up cause shrugze is valid. I'm kind of in the same boat. Bemoaning how awful mafia is loudly is of course not so fun. But it's totally possible to have this position, but still getting sucked into the game, and like oh no here we go again why do I do this etc. That in itself isn't alignment indicative imo. I don't know why we're arguing that point.

I haven't read Leetic's posts, but them having a play style that is kind of rigid and can be annoying to others is normal. Just saw some clashing there

when i said that falcon and guillo weren't partnered, i had a more specific thought that guillo was towny, but i initially thought falcon was scummy off his opener. but when there was the whole back-and-forth regarding sabi's opener, falcon and guillo were clashing, so instead of giving individual reads on them i said i'm reading them as unpaired. which to me makes perfect sense because i scumread one and townread the other at the time.
that being said, by the time i came back to the thread, people were correcting me and saying that falcon always opens with "i am town" every time and it's not alignment-indicative, which, ok, fine. but nutella said falcon should be townread off his interaction and that instead of saying he's unpaired with guillo, i should call falcon town. and i don't particularly think falcon is towny so I want to press nutella first to see if it's tmi or if she's defending her partner. either way i don't think it came across as natural.
