What DDL said ^. It didn't make sense for 3 people to die in the middle of the night or for there to be two vanishing roles either but there they are. Granted it could be for some other reason but I'm convinced there's got to be some reason for the poll so I'll keep my hopes up until I find out what it is.

cave daddy told me that sig had figured out who he was. he mentioned that he'd made a deal with sig that in exchange for sig keeping his identity a secret and pushing disappearer suspicion away from him if he was released somehow that he'd let sig choose who was kidnapped next (me), that seemed like a weird contradictory deal but I just kinda ignored it. later on he revealed that aig had revealed his alignment to him and that the deal was actually that sig would agree to have his team not kill zeph and to draw kidnapper-being suspicion away from zeph, in exchange for zeph trying to target civs or..... something... I didn't really understand all the details, but if zeph was telling the truth they had a basic mafia-rogue partnership going on, and I don't know if he told me everything. he said he was telling me all this because he didn't think sig was going to be out any time soon butin retrospect I think it also had something to do with the fact that he was facing pressure at the time, though that's mostly conjecture, i thought King Kong was turnip head.

idk if this is old news or not, and it's possible zeph lied for some personal gain loosely relating to his wincon, it just seems like it might be important data point moving forward.

additional evidence that zeph may have been telling the truth is that the entire chatzy thread was cleared before I got there, but not before cbob arrived

I'm not saying I don't believe you, but how do you think sig would have been able to figure out that Sexsquatch was Zephyrus?

Can confirm this happened in chatzy, at least from what I saw. And even though Kyle doesn't seem to have any use for me anymore.

Ok, it's day. I came back with a great case on Zeph that sig had developed when he was in the sex cave chat. Fortunately though you guys got him right before I came back. sig, dunya and I talked A LOT about how we were reading people which I will talk more about tomorrow when I am not so tired. It's odd that no one vanished tonight - I wonder if the vanisher was blocked. Here is some info about the chatzy of Lost Souls.

The first day and night phase I was visited by a number of entities, some of whom I discerned were people not playing the game and a few I thought were playing the game. I had a slight suspicion of sig based on his comment early in the game that he wanted to be recruited and then his assurances when he came back that he wasn't recruited even though no one had asked. The one called Orange offered me freedom if I would try to get three votes for sig in the thread (if I failed to get three votes he said they would then lynch me). I asked them to let me present my case on Elo because there was much more evidence for her but they said no. Instead of giving me my freedom though they just captured sig and brought him to the chatzy. Once sig got there we sorted out our mutual suspicion of each other and began to try to solve the game.

Oddly enough, almost none of the entities who visited me visited me and sig. Only Spooky Ghost, Soulkeeper, and Karaoke Karl visited once sig arrived and then later when dunya got there Charon and Peter Abernathy. I had been visited by Gollum, Orange, james ford, kate austen, tdl mcfresh, Larry, Dom, Rachel Dolezal, Dillashaw, Demon King, spooky ghost, soulkeeper, bukkake, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Typhoony, therealtyphoony, Peter Abernathy, Mangina, and others. I know there were less people than this and they were just changing roles but I never could figure out how many there were total. Interestingly, sig had been visited by Mangina in his chat so it looks like at least one person had access to both chats.

My theory, one that sig came to believe as well, is this chat was a self-aligned entities chat. Orange was very interested in who killed Marmot and asked me as one condition of my release to figure out who it was. I iso'd Marmot and came to the conclusion that it was Elo or her team that killed him.

Those are the highlights of the place where I was held. Are there any questions I can answer about that?

i mean you don't actually have to take my word for it, cbob was there too, and read most of what i read.

king kong didn't say but my guess is he figured it out through a mix of typing style and matching online times between King Kong and zephyrus. Sig and Zeph have played before together so that might have helped too. or maybe he just straight up told him who he was, cus they're friends and Zeph lied to me to keep his identity secret, idk. At the very least I don't think zeph had any reason to lie to me about sig knowing who he was.

A word about this. sig told me that Zeph told him if he (sig) exposed Zeph, he (Zeph) would tell the thread that sig was mafia. That's why sig didn't expose that he knew for a fact the sex cave guy was Zeph when he was back for that one night. Instead, he left a legacy post that Zeph was bad. I'm sure sig is not mafia. dunya was also sure he was not mafia.

or i guess it could have been because of this post where zephyrus told everyone what his role was, maybe that's how sig figured it out and now i feel dumb for thinking i was kidnapped by DDL or TH for an entire week

Also just for the record, there were several clues that Zeph was the sex cave guy but the most conclusive is when Zeph came into the chatzy he came in as King Kong BUT chatzy reports the last name you signed on as and reports it when you first sign in with a new name. So it read King Kong (Zephyrus). Those of you who have used chatzy know exactly what I mean.

thank you, i hadn't noticed sigs' legacy posts on zeph, this seems much more complicated than i previously thought.

I don't understand zephyrus' motivation behind basically anything he did. what would he have had to gain from lying about sig? what was his long term strategy, wouldn't it have backfired almost immediately? did sig tell you guys the specifics of the deal he made with zeph?

it's also kinda fucked up that zeph chose King Kong as his sockpuppet name when King Kong is famously not a cryptid, if anything he's just regular megafauna

What was the deal he proposed to you? And what did he say his deal with c-bob was? (Apologies if you already explained this - I missed it if you did).

linki: colin, i wasn't about to talk about any of this in a night phase. sig came back, posted at night, and immediately got kidnapped again. I didn't want to get cursed or have anything happen to my communications ability.

i can see how the chain of events that took place could be the result of cave-dad screwing up and then extorting sig to try and cover his ass. it's sloppy but i can see the motivation behind it, if he wanted to win he was going to need to have half the living thread trapped in his cave at once and that would have been difficult to accomplish with someone knowing that he was the reason why it was like that

That’s fair, juliets. I have no idea what you’d stand to gain by lying about all this, it just struck me as seriously weird.

i waited until right before dawn to post cus i was concerned about getting killed. right or wrong, posting what i did early on in the phase might have incentivized my murder, and I didn't really want that.

we never actually finalized a deal, partially cus i was on vacation but also cus I didn't have anything I wanted to offer to him or for him to offer to me. I asked to know who he was so I could target him and he said 'nah'. I also asked if he would kidnap elohcin if she turned out to actually be immortal like she claimed, but she died and then he kidnapped cbob instead. he didn't make a deal with cbob.

his final wish was that we get Colin lynched in the event of his death, but then he said 'nevermind actually lynch whoever you think is bad'

i don't think he even offered the concept of a deal to cbob
