I'm gonna share my entire thought process to get to answer this so prepare for long jumbled text.

iirc katt had there alignement redacted. so we only got their posts to go by. they claimed then said maple is town because of a day invest acton then died. I don't remember how they died or by who. idk if that was announced or not. iirc they said they were some type of strongman cop?

strongman is typically a role that can bypass protections etc so person they target is killed no matter. never seen this modifier in a cop role. I would think such a modifier if real and Katt as cop had it thry could bypass a Miller or even GF immune to get a player's true read.

if Katt was the one who actually claimed this, dorry foggy brain still waking up, then why did they invest maple? well, i can see katt doing that. we are all still debating if maple is mantichora or not. i have decided i will try to view maple as their own person and personality. far as i can tell maple doesn't care either way if we think they are mantichora or not.

My alignment is town power. My ability is a bit complicated, so bear with me. If any of the members of the Mafia know anything about Epic Mafia, they'll likely know that killing me is a great idea for them.

During the day, I can choose to "dispel all light", causing the day to end with a nolynch. I can do this once.
Each night, I can choose to "dispel all darkness" and some bullshit like that. What this does it redirects all activated abilities being used that night onto myself. Whether I activate or not, I will know which roles visited me that night (n0 I had "vampire", "tucan", and "role cop").
Once during the game, I can make myself completely immune to all abilities/death/lynch for the two phases thereafter.
If I am voted up, and brought to a majority, I will know exactly how many townies voted for me, the lynch is cancelled, and the day ends.

If I die, the next day phase is skipped, meaning there are two consecutive nights. Between those nights, all non-town players may vote to have a currently alive player killed, ignoring protection/immunity.

HK has to be a the rolecop, and wants me lynched because he read up on the Epic Mafia role, from which I am based.

The issue with HK as town is that Xalt's role...Janitor which accounts most likely for the redacted HK flip...required that his first target be a fellow wolf to get additional shots. Another redacted flip on Marcher Jovian suggests that he did get additional shots, so that makes HK a wolf.

Which brings us back to:

Why does a wolf HK who knows he is about to be janitored and can make up literally anything he wants spend that opportunity clearing a villager who claimed miller?

If maple is town then sure they don’t get the townpoints

But if maple is mafia those three are much less likely mafia

And Xalt was revealed as a janitor role so in the absence of any other explanation he killed HK. That's why the flip on HK is redacted. Xalt also needed to janitor a wolf first in order to get more shots.
