Hmm ok. My thinking was that if you knew how many Units there were we’d have a good shot at then divvying up the numbers to figure out how many were on a scum team but nevermind.

No, my thinking was that we could derive how many are likely to be on a scum team from regular game balance numbers, looking at how many players are left, and how many AUs there were total (or are left)

I don't think so, like in theory they could, but putting a mafia member with civs, without outside contact is a bad idea. Plus when you're vanished you don't count towards final numbers meaning if we would've lynched the rest of the mafia team they'd be screwed. So I'd say there's a good chance we aren't

I guess I could see that, but a three person mafia team seems a bit small? I guess in theory it could be 3 on ISIS 4 on other. This would also explain the level of vanishing/silencing mafia roles.

there's 5 s/a that I know of. And 4 mafia on each team would mean 18 civs vs 13 others. I don't wanna argue balance in Mac's game, but theoretically, that seems baddie heavy.

That’s fair and I do understand in this instance why you’d think it was suspicious. But like I said this game hasn’t been at the forefront of my attention ever since everybody stopped talking in the thread and it became about a bunch of BTSC chats I have no ability to assess or verify.

I'm not bashing your participation level: on the contrary, you're one of the most involved and active. Which is why I'd expect heavier suspicions tbh.

My problem with TH is I would have to believe a ton of WIFOM to believe he's scum with Eloh. Which is very possible, especially considering his self admitted ability to pull it off

but I'm not even sure we're looking at 4/4 scum teams. I'd rather lynch someone who I can see as nova/LC teammate this round.

I'll try to do an analysis of cbob with nova and LC before end of night in case I'm killed.

Well ... there’s nothing I can say to discount this. I would prefer to do a look into Luna more thoroughly before I sign off on her lynch, so that will be my next project and if I don’t do it you have permission to strike me down

Yeah so Zeph aka King Kong didn't talk much at all expect to come in and offer me a deal. Basically he said he'd help me if I was mafia or civ and if I was mafia he'd abduct strong civvies as long as we didn't kill him. Then he said if I tell anyone anything about what he said or try to figure him out he'd say I confessed to him that I was mafia and get me lynched.

The obvious thing that's wrong here is that if I was mafia I'd never tell an unknown third party my role and the second being I'm not mafia.

Now i figured him out mainly due to his first in game post and then by the fact he logged onto Chatzy with his username.

Yeah the people who haven't claimed and those who roles I don't have some idea of/know would be Kites, INH, Luna, Motel, TH, and bob I believe.

I'll cross reference when the inactive players were here, since while they could've logged on to use Night powers and not post I find that unlikely and to my knowledge Mac doesn't randomize abilities if players aren't present.

Add colin to that list, but I doubt he's that role.

The first two point to this not being a civ power since I don't recall Jay or Golden being suspected during those phases. It should also be noted Golden died that night so obviously mafia wanted to shut him up.

Luna's curse is the odd one out, which makes me think teammate, unless she was onto something juicy about scum.

Please correct me if I'm wrong and we had a curse D3. If not I doubt INH has that role since he was present N3.

He was on both counter wagons to ISIS members who ended up being lynched, so he's someone I'd look into as mafia, but not the role I'm searching for.

Kites wasn't around N3 which would be bad, but he wasn't around N4 either. So that lessens his chances of having that role.


Motel Room has been present every night phase. So I'd say he looks the worse out of the inactives for that role. However, that wouldn't explain the night we didn't have an action. I could also kind off see his role (beer) being responsible for something silly like this curse. However, I wouldn't say it's enough to lynch on.



An in general read of inactives would have me wanting to lynch INH first, however it isn't a priority.
