in light of me, made, michelle, and ellie all being town, it's obvious that the scum have been manipulating this game and pulling it into a certain narrative. i felt consistently throughout yesterday that something was "weird" about this game - and it's obvious now that the thing i found so weird was the fact that the scum was bruteforcing the POE into a specific direction

in my opinion, a reveal like this should make every town player here start their reads over from scratch & use that information to determine who's been pushing the game into a direction that's advantageous for scum

Actually that’s not true, it’s slightly more likely she’s town than random, likelihood of her being mafia and carrying KP is lower relative to likelihood of her being town that was shot at

But yeah functionally her odds of being mafia remain the same

Their KP was clearly never in serious danger if all claims are real, so you probably want to hold it to take out claims late, otherwise you can just get turbo fucked

So yeah, basically you want to use KP if you think you might lose it, if you think they’re safe you want to hold it for claims

because a huge part of the reason why you were perceived as "clear" early on is because you did not try to interrupt or integrate yourself into the consensus POE - i heard this narrative spoken and reinforced multiple times

but does your trajectory in this game not perfectly fit how jagged!scum would play? if you are scum, you've had a smooth & easy ride being able to push on the now-confirmed town

something worth noting is that the scum are almost certainly feeling blindsided right now

coming into today, made, michelle, and myself were all viable chop options from the mafias perspective. i would bet that the mafia were banking on at least one of those three being chopped within the next two days

and within a few hours of the day starting, the scum have suddenly lost three very valuable consensus POE chops. this is going to make the scum scramble and force themselves into positions that they might not otherwise have

It fits my scum game in that my reads have often been trash, and trash reads benefit mafia. But I am nothing like my mafia game right now. I understand many folks haven't seen it before, and there's not much I can say to them. I should be town read because I have brought immense energy to this game from the start despite the fact that I could barely work up the motivation to play at all. It was a serious relief not to come back after three months and then have to deal with a mafia role.

At this point in my Mafia life I don't expect people to town read me with any confidence short of mafia chops. It's annoying, and it vastly overestimates me, but I also understand the perspective and that's just the way the game goes.
