Normally I might accept this sort of logic, as I do the same thing when reading certain other players too, but I guess the problem here is I don't really townread you to begin with.

Also, based on my previous experience of you and Made I'm not sure I agree you guys have a particularly similar playstyle. Not, like, vastly different I guess, but I can't say I made this connection on my own and have only started considering it since you think so.

Mac made one of his associatives cases day one, which I hated because preflip associatives, but went with because I had nothing to offer. So we chopped Cat, who was indeed a wolf. The other half of the associative was Made...so I started day 2 with "either I can try to sort this out or we can just chop Made." I opted not to sort anything out, so I'm just sheeping Mac's case that already chopped one wolf and following through on chopping Made.

I have no idea what these other wagons are about.

As far as I've seen (and admittedly I haven't gone looking) these feelie reads haven't even gone to "feels wrong"...just "doesn't feel right." My conversations with Nanook when he has happened to be around at the same time I was have gotten me the absolutely NAI nothing I expect from Nanook, so I see no reason for an early chop there.

in case you missed it when I said it before, I was the second person to vote Cat, and I left thread and didn't come back cuz I thought the day ended later. If i were bad, it wouldn't of been hard to move my vote off of cat and make the vote closer. My team could of even reminded me to vote for falcon in the group chat if I forgot. Please take these things in mind if you haven't already.

Also, just so I can understand the logic going forward, why would a player vote their teammate and then ghost thread?

I don't really agree with Hyena's read of Nanook here. In Bread, Nanook was very content on getting me chopped pretty much all game. He wouldn't defend other people, even if he figured they were town. I feel like not getting involved in brawls that don't involve him is closer to Nanook's Meta. BUT, he defends Hyena's read as accurate (which it could be. I'm not a Nanook meta expert or anything). I find it scummy that he accepts this read of his meta as 100% accurate without any sass and addendums. it's scummy to avoid conflicts (like the kinda a disagreement on meta might produce) in hopes of the person backs down from their case

while obviously they're both joking here, the premise of Nanook's joke is kinda odd. He's floating that he thinks syn could be towncore this game--which means he thinks he looks at least a little townie. He then goes to put Syn where he belongs, middle low part of reads. But he thinks Syn in townie? That's sus.
Even past that, I feel like Nanook's willingness to post reads here is kinda weird. What I wouldn't had given to get this kind of straight forward interaction from Nanook in Bread Mafia. I also just don't like the sentences that follows his reads list. It just reads off to me. It's the kinda of thing I'd say if I knew something (in this case, the something known is the opaqueness of his reads) but don't want to make a big deal out of it. I think that's kinda apologetic perspective is weird coming from Nanook. Of course, you can play mafia however you want, but the way Nanook is playing feels more like it's for an audience. In terms of baddie intent and agenda--specifically in how he's talks about Syn-- I think he's either trying to pocket Syn, who seems to know him well, or Syn's his teammate.

Did Nanook say his list was an ordered one? Also, you started this with saying you disagree with hyena's read on Nanook (which is a scumread), but are also drawing associations between Nanook and Syn saying they are scum, although perhaps you're disagree with the content of the read, and not necessarily the alignment. Also, there's a disconnect in saying that avoiding brawls is closer to Nanook's meta, and then stating a reason you suspect him is that he is avoiding conflict.

I disagree with Nanook on Syn and don't see an obvious reason to townread TSP or Jack, but that's a separate concern. Hee ho.

How about just not Nanook. There are a number of "feelie readers" who have expressed that Nanook "doesn't feel right." As far as I've seen (and admittedly I haven't gone looking) these feelie reads haven't even gone to "feels wrong"...just "doesn't feel right." My conversations with Nanook when he has happened to be around at the same time I was have gotten me the absolutely NAI nothing I expect from Nanook, so I see no reason for an early chop there.

I'm totally down for realies over feelies, so if the case vs nanook is "feels not right" I'm going to ignore it.

Speaking for myself, feelies are only good to either start suspicion, or to add to an existing case. I want to see posts where nanook is making mistakes, or posts where someone is pushing and the reaction is bad, not comments about how he doesn't feel right.
