I'm taking sean out of my townreads. I was just reading through those posts again and I agree with this.

He didn't have a lot of conviction and I think it's because he was looking for an easy way to back out of the read.

BK - This is nothing like his recent scum games.
Samu - his testing of falcon looked fine, it got the game rolling. He moved on from it too. He's interacting with people. I like his presence

Light town reads

Gavial - Taking up a lot of threadspace, but as-so-far, I find him less manipulative than I recall in Fallout. This is not a comprehensive read
Urist - Soul read
Seanzie - I'd like to see him enter the fray more, but his content, observations, and questions are similar to what I'd expect from him.
Omega - Similar to sean, I'd like to see her dig in more. That aside, she has more energy than she did as scum in Fallout Mafia, but her lack of energy there might not have been based solely on rolling mafia. Just a slight town lean here

Read something that Sean posted a while back and sounded super towny. Sean hasn't done anything to lose those feelings since then.

You might find it weird, but that alone doesn't make it TMI. That said, I no longer feel that way.

Also, the statement you retracted was "Alison's lack of presence is also worth noting IMO". By retracting it, do you find it no longer noteworthy? I assume you had a read on her before and that's what you're retracting, but it isn't clear what it is.

I'm kind of second guessing my Falcon read right now. He is unabashedly not caught up. I feel like if he was scum here with an (albiet small) wagon, he'd either make a point to be caught up or offer some sort of excuse for why he isn't caught up. Instead, he has given out-dated reads, and only when pressed did he admit he hasn't read the whole thread.

On the other hand, people like Esooa and HK have been vote jumping, seemingly testing the waters with their votes, trying to find what will stick. Coincidence that they both have somehow landed on me without any progression? I don't think either one has said a word about me all day.

Ok having the entire Bolded in the same sentence is completely unnecessary and doesn’t at all seem genuine.
All I’m saying is if that’s your only issue it should have bothered you then and not later.
I intent on keeping it in the past because I refuse to allow potential theatre to slip by and I want to nullify it and pretend it never happened because I don’t want anyone falsely cleared from a 1on1 interaction like that. You and Samu need to be read individually.

I searched HK's ISO and you're right, he didn't mention a read of you until after his vote (and his vote looks like he's trying to start a wagon on you)

I mean, votes should always be considered for their meaning. I think the word "serious" isn't quite right. Samu's vote didn't look at all like it was meant to contribute to a TK of Falcon, and rarely are early D1 votes meant in that way. Instead they are more used to generate content and reactions. Samu naked voted Falcon, and then when pressed, asked Falcon what he thinks of that. That vote looks "non-serious" to be in the sense that I don't really think Samu was thinking about TKing Falcon there. If Samu is town, it was a reaction test, and if he is scum, I don't think he would cast a vote meant to stay there this early in D1.

Doing reaction tests like that IMO is >rand town, and Falcon taking the vote seriously enough to OMGUS Samu I think is >rand scum.

basically there's a difference between "I intend to kill you with this vote" and "I wonder what happens if I vote you here". There's also "this vote is literally for laughs" but that category is generally really obvs.

Can see how ppl are getting to wolfy falcon off of that.

I do think that's more of a townie mindset for her though. I don't disagree with the points you're making about her *in general*, but I don't think they apply to DoO.
tbh I want to wolf read her for it. mostly b/c I've done what she's doing as wolf, and I've had it done to me. It's kinda effective b/c as long as you're not crossing the line from "annoyed and responding with snark and sarcasm" into "actually insulting people" it gets people who sus you to back off.

Outside of her interactions with me/Gavial what's your take on DoO? I know my read on her is currently clouded by my recent interactions.

I'm taking sean out of my townreads. I was just reading through those posts again and I agree with this.

He didn't have a lot of conviction and I think it's because he was looking for an easy way to back out of the read.
