if you thought the real doc was Marmot or Wilgy or someone you could exe, then them CC-ing would be pretty good for you. Under that scenario, you'd vote Marmot/Wilgy off, and then thunderdome Esooa and rely on eg. me to help vote her.

That's not what I was going for. I was just doing cover, hoping that a) the doc would take it, and b) would get that I'm trying to help her. I'm not really down with fake claim shenanigans as a wolf.

I think I have one fake claim conflict in my entire Mafia history as a wolf. And that one was earlier this year, and it was either fake claim or straight up lose the game.

The Syndicate isn't exactly known for its roleclaims. Heck roleclaiming was typically against the rules for the first few years of the Syndicate's existence.

I think I know who the doctors are, and I don't understand why you'd add another claim to the mix of those people. I think claiming early to cover for them makes sense (see tutuu in Making Friends claiming Mason), but cc'ing at this point in the game doesn't.

so it's okay to cover early in the game but as soon as day 2 starts it's way too late.

You understand that I don't come from a heavy claiming culture, yet I'm probably scum trying to brute force my way past two genuine claims.

I don't get it, really, I claim doctor but all someone has to do is say is that a hard claim? And then I have to to say oh no, it was just cover. Like, that's what I'd say if I really was a doctor, you know?

Wolves might claim doctor, but I'd say it's pretty rare for wolves to counterclaim doctor.

so i've skimmed marmot's last scum game because they obv haven't played in a while and I wanted to have an idea about how they play

still feel like going for them is optimal. i do feel like there's a slight difference in tone, but they fail at being villagery or having any villagery thoughts.

this claim thing is pretty lame and LC shouldn't go based only off of it.

in the end, we're prob gonna get schooled by some wolves that we don't expect

I personally have a hard time getting any confident read in and most of it is because there are about 3 new people (even if one of them is claimed doc) and the people that I know are playing as if they're other people (Alison, tutuu)

kinda hard to get my teeth into this game but I'll try having better posts during the night and settle for some reads, no matter how bad they are

even tho it's not really my style

if he does end up flipping a wolf though, it'll probably be for entirely unrelated reasons, but the current push on him is such a cop out. what are his motives for claiming there as a wolf when he really doesn't need to?

I would also like to say that the past 48 hours has been enlightening, and it would appear to me that different players have different perspectives or opinions on rules and how they should be handled.

I have personally come to the conclusion that my mod-kill of Nanook was at least partially wrong, and how I worded the rule. That said, post-game I will be posting my thoughts regarding my actions, and as well as asking for your guys thoughts and opinions because I strive to try and become the best host that I can be, and it would be important to me if you guys could do that post-game.

I know I'm town. Esooa and tutuu are the docs. sig has played much townier than you/Marmot/Wilgy, and also has a derpclear in his favor. Even if you disregard the derpclear he's still townie on play.

So either there's two mafia in [you/Marmot/Wilgy] or sig is mafia. I think the former is the most likely possibility right now.

7 people isn't an argument. If LC was really scum who just got caught lying, his teammates would be forced to bus. I've outed a good reason scum LC has to claim.
