i for one can't read dizzy at all because i specced one of their scum games and had them as a lock town, but i have a light townread on them here as they kinda lack the "performative vigor" from that game i think

i think the argument can be made that it's towny for dizzy to not care about looking towny (because dizzy's wolfgame, from what ive seen, is similar to mine in that he is VERY focused on how other people are perceiving him), but that's not really reasoning i feel comfortable basing a read on

I miscleared her in Fleabag and then let her die in Baby Mafia because I was afraid of misclearing her again. So yeah my track record of reading Dizzy is awful.

The thing that worries me about Dizzy was the first thing she did today was immediate townread on Illario/Leetic, because the first thing she did in Fleabag was immediate pocketing on Illario and acting as joyful as possible while doing it. Kind of a similar vibe I had going on when backreading.

fwiw i thought that marmot's initial reasoning to scumread you was among some of the towniest stuff that he's posted, because he pinpointed a specific observation about you that i hadnt found a way to put into words yet, which indicates to me that marmot was putting genuine thought into his read on you. i thought the way that he treated you from there came off as a bit binary/maybe a bit too focused on keeping you in his POE, though

Thanks. If there’s one thing I can say about Marmot, it’s that he hasn’t become preoccupied by singular pursuits including “Jay is off”. To make a read known while still operating within a broad solving umbrella is generally better than the alternative. Gun to my head Marmot is fine.

I don't think I see myself voting Marmot today either, he's been actively hunting as far as I can see during my backreading and reacting to posts he's seeing in his catch up, usually a good sign.

And thanks for the response @Lime Coke. It’s good for me to clarify and reinforce meta reads that I don’t experience or aren’t immediately intuitive. @cassandra that was the purpose per your previous question/doubt. It was primarily about you but a useful communication about LC too.

That also reminds me from something I've seen in his catch up posts.

I think there were notes made of SPF being hedge-y in her reads earlier. She tends to do that as town pretty often and people tend to scumread her for it, including a point in one of her town games in MU where she posted her reads then immediately realized it the next post, so being hedge-y isn't a big deal for her.

I’d like to develop my view of the game with more objective reviews before the cap lifts. It’d be super to get some posts from the not-yet-shows. The continuing dialogue strikes me as a bit circular, and that’s natural without new faces. Give me your faces.

My initial thought when I saw you come in with that line trying to align to me and marmot was : “surely dizzy wouldn’t employ the exact same strategy as mafia twice” and that thought alone gave me pause to the idea of you being scum. But yeah I think that’s a bad reason to hold myself back from a sr, I do think there are parallels to your previous game in how you entered and how you’ve been playing the game out
