World War II Mafia

A game for 30 players

This will be a closed setup, so this submission will not include the roles. However, I will speak of some key details to give you a better impression of what to expect.

~ The game will be played in multiple separate theaters simultaneously.

~ A map of sorts will be incorporated and have an impact upon the way the game functions.

~ "Items" will be included.

~ Certain characteristics of real-time and turn-based strategy games will be incorporated.

~ Role claiming and info-dumping will be legal.

~ The game will be more complex than simple.

That's about all I'm willing to say here. I would be willing to hear questions though and if I am able to answer them I will.

I think the main reason I usually prefer simpler games is that I can be more confident that they're balanced. I tend to play Mafia so dang hard that it's ideal to feel like it's worthwhile, and that all that effort has at least a decent chance of helping my team win the game.

I think that generally speaking the more complex a game is, the less balanced it is. There are exceptions of course. I think complexity tends to work against town though and in role madness games (open or closed setups) I always have less faith that what I am doing really matters that much.

I was Idi Amin in one game, and my teammates were Hitler & Stalin. There were some more super evil folk, but that is all I recall.
